Very happy with the installation
I ordered this dash clock for an old British roadster. I didn't want a hard wired clock because I didn't want to mess with the notoriously delicate wiring. I was a little concerned that this clock might be too small, and too "blingy" to match the Smith gauges already there. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that, while small, it was big enough to read and the bright surrounding bezel, while a little too much, was not too-too much.Very happy with the installation, and if I could suggest one improvement it might be supplying two adhesive pads; one "permanent" and the other removable (many dash-mount GPS receivers do this and for good reason). Unlike another recent reviewer, I had no difficulty at all popping the clock from its bezel to set the time. You don't need access to the rear at all, because a thin blade will wiggle it free from the front.I like it a lot. You're paying for the design here, not so much the clock itself, but it was worth it.

Expensive but Solid Stainless and Very Attractive
I don't know that I would have paid this much for a clock for my scooter if I didn't have a gift card to use. It arrived in a very nice gift box with Formotion stickers and very good instructions. It is substantial in weight and obviously made with good stainless steel metal that doesn't rust. What makes this clock more expensive than their other Formotion models is that you can also buy different mounting brackets, such as for handlebars. I just used the industrial 3M double stick tape already stuck to the back of it. It is so attractive, though, that I worry that someone might steal it while it's parked. For the price, it should have also included a glow-in-the-dark feature, like dive computers.

Adjusted time and works great
The media could not be loaded. I just bought this and I have to say that this a great looking clock. I was all excited to put it on my boat until I tried to figure out how to set the time. I have a Masters degree and can fix just about anything so you would think that adjusting the time on a clock would be simple. I read the instructions. "Once removed from its mounting base pull out the crown and turn to set the time." Once removed from it mounting base? It is a sealed piece with a hole in the center. I tried to gently pry it off, no luck, I tried with some extra force, Nada. My guess is that there is a tool that you need to remove the mounting plate. I checked their web site. Nothing about a tool, I sent them an email twice, no response.I uploaded a video to see if another customer has any ideas. Thanks for the responses. I wish the company had something to say. I was thinking of taking the tape off and sticking to my boat but if I can't pry it open I doubt the tape will hold it.It's a shame that I will be sending this nice clock back to Amazon. I guess I am destined for a $6.00 plastic digital clock.I have finally figured it out. A nice person from the company called me and told me all I had to do was hold it by the edges and push in on the hole in the middle and wolla. I have it on my boat and it looks and works grest.Yesterday somebody called fom the company following up to see if I had it working. Great customer service. A nice touch seeing it has become a lost art.

There is one major flaw
To change the time on this clock you need to apply A LOT of pressure with a screwdriver to pop the face out of the housing. This is fine and all if you never need to change the time again once the clock is mounted. For me the clock is going to be an hour fast for a few months out of the year and there is nothing I can do about it. It is a great looking clock I'll give it that.

Heavy Duty Clock
Purchased this clock for our small (19.5') boat. It is nicely constructed of heavy stainless steel. It is a little difficult to get the "works" out of the case to either set the time or change the battery, but not insurmountable. (It needs a "notch" to facilitate the removal). Haven't had it long enough to see if the battery lasts its advertised amount (3-4 years they say). Has several different ways to mount it; I used the self stick backing (you can also mount it using a screw) and it worked fine. Looks very "marine".

High quality finish. Heavy in your hand.
Great polish work and fits right in with triumph bonneville black back gauges. The mounting choices for these clocks are confusing and totally inconsistent with expectations, descriptions. Almost the whole back is a peel and stick, which gets in the way if you are bolting it on. The bolt on kit does not have what you need for dressup or mounting completely . Cleaned the peel and stick off and went to the hardware store. Looks great now, but you need to be patient.

Clock
Not sure as of yet. Installed in my boat because I was tired of being asked, "what time is it?" Because when I go to the lake, I often do not wear a watch. The finish and quality appear to be excellent, as it should, for the cost. I bought cheap lcd clocks in the past and the hot sun always turns them into dust, so...I thought, my boat, and passengers, deserve a NICE clock!

Tractor Clock
I bought this clock as a gift for my husband to use on our new Kubota tractor. It's perfect! He mounted it on the tractor dashboard. The size and classic design of this small clock make it look like standard equipment. We're going to buy another for our Kawasaki Mule. We don't wear watches and it's handy knowing the time when we're out working on our property. Another reviewer was having difficulty setting the time. Note that there's no set screw on the bottom. Instead the directions read to use a pocket knife or other such object to remove the clock from its base. It's a simple friction mount. Then you set the time as you would on a watch: pulling out the stem, adjusting the time and pushing the stem back in. We're so pleased with this purchase. By the way, it arrives packaged in a beautiful gift box.
