Way smaller than expected. May need to put it in a container of some kind. Still good quality

Exactly as described. Some reviews mention how small they are, I actually wanted smaller so it worked for me but there were a variety of sizes up to 1/4 inch as stated in the description.

Took a risk, shouldn't have. Pale grey powder was shipped with very pale blue fish tank gravel. I'm not sure what they are but I'm sure it's not raw sapphire. Whatever it was wasn't helped with the complete lack of padding even down to not being in a bag, just poured, well swept into the shipping envelope.To be far all the above is true, but the wrong stones were shipped- the samples shipped were as above, just the wrong stone completely. Also to be fair- They were credited with a no-return return which took care of the cost, just not the disappointment.

Absolutely beautiful, good for many projects from jewelry to crafts . I recommend to anyone.

"On average the size of these stones are around 0.25" per piece but this can vary from one shipment to the next." Not a true statement. Not one stone in my shipment was even close to 1/4 inch... Not One! I would have been happy with one or two usable stones. These are more like 1/32 to 1/16 inch each. Not worth the time of returning. Definitely will not order again. Will find another use for them which is why I gave marks for "value for money."

Pieces I received were not like the photos. I recieved 2 chunks of grayish blue rock that look more like low quality blue kyanite than sapphire
