bought a long time ago and still able to use them, the top coat is about gone, but the base coat has lasted for awhile. i have used the base coat for many of things and has work for all the things i used it for. used as a base coat before polish, to adhere gems (flatback), to adhere tips, to mix down gel art paints when doing nail art, to adhere stickers. multiple use product.

I have never had gel nails before and rarely had my nails done at a salon. Typically I paint my own nails for special occasions knowing they will be chipped within 6 hours. My nails just never have held polish. I decided to try gel nails after I received a LED nail light. I bought this set and a color. Man o man it went on easily and flawlessly. I gave it 60 seconds on the base coat to get mostly dry but still a little tacky. I applied my color, cured it for 90 seconds, and then added the top coat and ended up having to cure it for 90 seconds. But when I was done, my nails looked beautiful and glossy. I was even more surprised that they stayed in that beautiful flawless condition for 9 whole days before one nail got a chip.Removal was kind of a pain. First I had to rough up the surface with a file and then I had to soak my nails in pure acetone for 20 minutes before I could easily scrape it off. Once off I buffed my nails and applied vitamin E oil and they looked just like they did prior to the gel nail. The whole removal process took about an hour. I have continued to put the oil on a few times a day and will do so for for several days just to give them time to breath and gain moisture after having to use the pure acetone.Overall, I am very pleased with the ease of application and with the longevity of the polish.

I cleaned my nails, buffed lightly, then put on a light coat of the base. Dried it under my UV light for 60 seconds, put a thin gloss top coat on, and dried that 60 seconds. Easy and FAST. Maybe my light is why it works so well? I got the SUNUV one for $25 because the reviews were so good. There were a lot of lights for less, but this one I can stick my whole hand under and dry the whole thing at once.Anyway, after 3 weeks with NO PROBLEMS, no chipping or discoloration, I buffed the area down where the nails were growing out. Shortened the nails, then buffed the whole thing again. I did not remove the old gel, just buffed really well so it was smooth. Then a thin coat of base, dried with UV light, then thin top gloss coat and dried with UV light. They look perfect. NOTE: One of my nails had a break about 1/2 inch from the tip, I just made sure it was smooth before I put the gel polish on 3 weeks ago. The break is holding up great. I am very pleased.

For the price I think the top and base coat polishes are great! The base coat is a little bit thicker and tackier, which allows the color to stick well; and the top coat leave a very nice glossy finish that I love. I will say though, when placing the top coat under the lamp there is a small ‘sting’ effect on the nails, but it wears off in a few seconds. I used the SunUV/LED lamp, along with Modelones polishes as well. I can’t attest to the longevity of the polish which is why I gave it overall 4 stars, but I’ve worn it for one hectic errand day and have absolutely no chipping so far. I have washed my hands several times and nothing unusual has happened with the polish (no peeling or lifting). Of course, I followed all the preparations for applying the nail polish accordingly. All in all, Excellent buy and I would definitely recommend for beginners.

Very good product. The base keeps the polish from chipping (still need to prep nail properly). The top coat is glassy, and never sticky. I do wish the bottles were not the same color for quick identification of which is which

I use these for my gelx sets and theyre super good. not too sticky but great at the same time

Great deal. All products are great for manicures and acrylics. They are also beginner friendly.

Overall this gel works very well. It is long lasting, the shiny top coat is super shiny, and I LOVE that there is no tackiness after the top coat is cured. However, the formula is VERY thick and to avoid having clumpy nails or flooding the cuticle area and sides, you have to work very hard to get the majority of the gel off of the brush before you can even think of putting it on the nail. Additionally, the brush is WAY to big. It’s not long which is nice but it’s too wide which makes it difficult to avoid flooding the cuticle area and sides even if you get the right amount of product. Lastly, whoever decided that a square top for these bottles was a good idea needs to be fired because it is the STUPIDEST design. I have to sit there for like 30 seconds each time I go to paint a layer to try to get the top in a comfortable position or a position where I am not going to drop the dang brush. I think ModelOnes makes a different bottle type so if you have the option- get that instead. The design of this bottle is just bogus! I’m glad I didn’t spend a lot of money on these gels. The formula is overall great but it needs to be thinned and the brush and top of the bottle need a lot of work.

I've been doing gel polish and poly gel for nearly 2 years now and have tried many base and top coats and this is definitely the best I've used.It lasts ages on the nails and the bottleMake sure you keep the top of the bottle clean this stops the seal from failing and any leakage then!Definitely a fab product base coat stays nice and tacky so the colour adheres properly

Good product but I would say it’s just standard. The base and top coat are not thick but they do the job and do it well. I have to admit my nails have lasted 3 weeks and even when I went to change my nails, the nails had not lifted or chipped. The top coat kept its shine but it’s not super glossy.

Base coat was tacky and didn't cure that well, top coat was lovely and has a really good shine. Both though are really easy to apply and good value for money.

I love the product but i had these originally in a modelones polygel nail set. The bottles leak from the lids eventually. Not sure why but it's happened with all of the ones i have had so far
