Vervaco Counted Cross Stitch Kit Pug Dog 8.4" x 8.4"

I am in the middle of completing this project and it's turning out great! Only thing is I didn't like the Aida it came with, so I bought some gold sparkly Aida to put it on. The Aida it came with was really stiff and in my personal opinion, an ugly colour. But cute kit, mos def worth to get the little puglet!

The kit was organized well and contained all needed items to complete project. Contained directions for a number of countries. I substituted the fabric only because I preferred a slightly different look. The fabric contained would work well...especially for beginners. Anxious to complete...a gift for my granddaughter. A very good price for the quality of the kit.

I love this pattern! Any possibility of getting a design for a black pug?!

The picture of the finished project does not look anything like the actual product. The picture is in fact a warmer color and the actual product is a cooler tone. Yes it still looks like a pug, however I was hoping the finished product looked like the the picture that it came with.

So much fun! I was getting tired of doing easy cross stitches and wanted a little more of a challenge but not one that I would pull my hair out over and this was perfect!!

genau richtig für einen Stickanfänger. Nur sticken und schon fertig mit dem letzten Stich. Konturen sind keine zu Sticken. Da werde ich immer lustlos. Eine Freundin wollte jetzt mit dem Sticken anfangen und ich habe ihr den Mops geschenkt. Man will ja die Sticklust fördern. Die Anleitung sah man auf den Bildern aus der Packung heraus - s/w und nicht in Farbe. Ich finde das die Symbole besser zu Sticken sind als die in Farbe gedruckten - noch schlimmer: das Motiv aufgedruckt. Ich habe vor dem Kreuzstich mal Gobelin gestickt - grausam.
