The app UX is poor and unintuitive but cam features and build quality are top of the market. The app is definitely functional but could be designed a lot better. Cloud features are overpriced but also very cool. Would definitely recommend and buy again. Night mode isn’t as good as prior model but clarity is way up.

Probably the best product in the market. Has true motion detection for people or vehicles moving around in the front of the camera even while your vehicle is off. The camera doesn’t skip a beat on the road either. True night vision where I can see and identify people walking around my vehicle under very low light conditions. I tried other cameras that claimed all of the above and they were absolute garbage. The only downside to this cam is that it doesn’t have LTE nor does it connect to distant WiFi routers very well. However, the WiFi connection to your phone is very strong and it downloads each 4K video in about 15 seconds. Very happy with this product.

Plug and play, install it and forget it. Clean recordings and performs well. Brand new factory sealed box in perfect condition.

So this is your best? Go back to the drawing board. Over $500 and my Vantru N2 Pro runs rings around this with image quality. I don't understand everyone saying how great the image quality is. It is pixelated, highly, at times and there is way too much noise in night videos. Unless someone has answers, this is going back for a full refund and I'll stick to my Vantru. ....I am utterly disappointed.Update 9/19/2019 - changed to 4 starsAfter much research, I bought a different SD Card. Apparently using an extremely high speed card causes millisecond delays in writing to it, resulting in stuttering and pixelation in playback,recording and extreme heat. You need to use a slower speed card even for 4k recording. Trust me, the results are much better. Here's the card I bought that works well: Lexar High-Performance microSDXC 300x 64GB UHS-I/U1

Fantastic picture! The app it connects to is simple and user friendly. It records audio without a skip and the video inside the car is clear even in dead of night. Outside front picture is nice and does the job well. Yet the night vision isn't the best I've used. To stop glare at night, I put the front facing cam behind my tint at rear mirror level. Basically, tint does what a cpl filter does, so no need for one. If you don't have your front window tinted lower, then a cpl filter is a nice investment. It makes for a clearer picture at night. (No star effect.)The inside camera I really like. I bought the IR rear cam. (Has lights on each side of the camera lens.) Due to my vehicle being for hire, I wanted to see and record the inside. Best yet, the camera is nice enough that you can also see behind your car also. Yes, it sees a good bit of everything on the inside of your car and the cars behind you.I can see the cloud being a good investment if you are away from your car or your vehicle is your business. I personally do not currently subscribe, so I cannot comment on the cloud itself.**I did have an issue where it did not want to connect to the blackvue wifi. It says to turn on "Airplane Mode" with just wifi on and then connect to the blackvue wifi. It worked perfectly.All in all it's a great camera. If you're looking for a lightweight design with options for Parking Mode with a very nice IR lens, this is it. *Warning* Parking Mode drained my battery in 2 days. I just turn it off when I'm at home. No problems since and I have kept it on when I parked and only shut it off when I get home. That way Parking Mode is still on while I'm out in case a fender bender happens in a parking lot. But I save my battery while I'm home and the car is safe.
