such a lovely book! i loved the story - i'm sure baby liked it too! :) the illustrations are great - baby immediately wanted to eat the book - which shows how bright and attractive it looked! its bright and colorful and glittery, and the story is in the form of rhymes - which baby and i both prefer and enjoy. overall, highly recommended.

My 6 yo absolutely loved it, I'm a fan of Julia Donaldson's books. Lovely illustrations and well written.

I brought this one as a gift for w mermaid fan and she absolutely loves it! Reduced one star because I expected atleast the cover to have some sparkle to it (chose the board book specifically for this) and the font could've been better. The story is absolutely lovely however!

An interesting story for children along with such vibrant and colorful illustrations. Can be enjoyed by boys and girls. My 3 year old boy loved it!

I like julia donaldson books for young children. Colourful, well illustrated which captured the attention of my five year old granddaughter. The story has a happy ending. Book also has activity book which she loved doing.
