Cute book for children where they can actually pick up a few Polish words.

Brought back memories of the old Polish neighborhood.

I bought this book as I am trying to learn Polish and also so that I can expose my 15 month old son to some Polish as well. I like how each two pages of this book are about a specific group of items from a similar place. The groups are: family, body parts, clothes, toys, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, food, farm, garden, colors, classroom, city, and numbers. There are a couple of "useful phrases" at the end, like "please" and "my name is." There's also a little help with pronunciation under each word and a short paragraph at the beginning of the book. (I did notice that some of the words they use for family members differ than what I have learned in Rosetta Stone, not sure what the difference is yet). My only wish is that it was hardcover or a board book, as I did not notice that it was paperback when I bought it. However, I'd still buy it again. The book is vivid in color, organized well, and has a lot of useful basic words in it. I think it will be fun to share with my son!

actually no stars/review. I still do not have this order. The email reply of yesterday is very hard to understand. In plain English, do you have this book or not??? I am really disgusted and disappointed. !!!!

Working with a Polish 3 year old this book has been excellent for interactions and build up of language. the pictures are of normal everyday scenes and the labeling words are in English, Polish and breakdown of polish pronunciation.
