Corrie Ten Boom: Are all of the watches safe? (Little Lights)

Great title and I liked how the author included the story about the secret message under the stamp! I also like how the author highlighted Corrie's father and her sister as they are very important in her faith. Minus one star because Corrie was much old than what was portrayed in the book when she went to Ravensbruck.

I help kids at school with their reading. Some just don't like to read, and some have a lot of trouble. This book fascinated some girls in first grade, and they have read it many times. It is the true story of Corrie ten Boom, and is very age appropriate - no gore, just a great story of faith during hard times.

Excellent for early elementary. I'm using it in my homeschool for my first grader alongside YWAMS Hereos for Young Readers Book about Corrie Ten Boom for my fourth grader.

A very reachable story of an amazing life. My 6 yr old daughter loves to read them.

Everyday she would watch as her father would work on watches and clocks and something about seeing her father do this day after day made her want to do the same as he. She absolutely loved working in the watch shop so much so that every night she would ask her father after he locked up for the night, "are all the watches safe?" And after he assured her they were they would hurry off to dinner. It wasn't long before even Holland was feeling the threats of Nazi Germany, when the ten Boom family heard enemy war planes overhead. Bombs began to be dropped until long last Holland was defeated and the Nazis took it over. Corrie seen all that was happening to the Jewish people and she decided to help by letting them seek refuge in a secret room in her home. It wasn't long though before the enemy found out and even Corrie was taken prisoner. She managed to outlive her father and sister but not without coming through something very horrific herself. Corrie believed that the only person that could provide the ultimate safe refuge is God and she continued to share that message until her death.**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the publisher.

True to the original story good for younger and older children.Reveals how God protects His children and uses them in the worst of situation. Even though situation appear to be out of control to us they are never to the Lord. He know exactly what He is doing. In the darkness He just asks us to TRUST Him

My children aged 3-12 all like these books. They look a bit old fashioned but the stories are well told with the option of a detailed story line on one page or a more basic story for younger children.

My kids love the story of Corrie Ten Boom!
