This whistle is nice and loud and gets my dogs attention when she's far away.I like that it's plastic so my lips don't freeze to it when we're out in -20 degrees!

Great for dog training. It is loud, the sound is sharp, and durable. Used it to train my Labrador, Meg, long distance commands. She responds great to this whistle even when other whistles wouldn't work. I think it is the best pitched whistle for dog training that you will be able to get.Build quality is fantastic, it is made of high quality plastic and the key ring doesn't bend or break like many of the silver ones do. There is a small circular piece of wood in the chamber used to rattle around and make a good sound that the manufacturer put in. This is a fantastic addition which I love. I would recommend this whistle to anyone needing a high-quality but cheap dog whistle to train their dogs.

Helped with neighbors dogs! The sonic things didn't work but this did!

Basic simple whistle, a bit overpriced. Needs a club endorsement.Worst thing is it needs a rubber banded mouthpiece.While training you need to be able to bite down and still talk. Without the rubber in your mouth to stabilize the whistle, it falls around and spit slides off the corners of your mouth.You can take this review and make jokes, if you you whistle train any dog you need that grip on the mouth to talk as well. Without spitting it out to talk. When my hands are covered in pigeon blood, it is annoying that I must keep readjusting the whistle by hand.Low tone carries well, cork trill is tops. Would give it a 4 for an added mouth grip, a five if it came with a lanyard at this price.

I wanted this due to the dangers of other dogs around that are aggressive. It also works well controlling barking. Just a little blow and the noise is enough to get my dog’s attention. Highly recommend if you are willing to train your dog regarding barking

In a nutshell…this whistle sucks. What happened to the old ones? I got a new GSP pup to train and bought a couple of these. I couldn’t find my old one (orange with black sides) so I bought 2 new ones. Both have low volume and are hard to move at thru. Very disappointed.Does anyone know of a good quality whistle for gun dog training? These are not going to get it done.

The whistle does not function as well as the one I bought for myself . It isn't nearly so loud . Looking at it again we have discovered that it has a "pea " which my own one has not . Do you still make them pea -less ?

My working dog listen better to whistle then voice as it is easier to distinguish in park and open fields. I now have whistles in both vehicles and a couple of spares! Great for training!

Second one I bought since I misplaced the first. When this whistle is blown my dogs run to me excited ready for action. A normal looking whistle but the sound is very different when you compare it to other whistles. Short bursts of air are needed for the sharp whistle, like a traffic cop
