10 Honeoye Strawberry Fruit Plants - Incredibly Sweet Berry! - (Pack of 10 Bare

I just got these plants so I don't have any fruit yet however they are all doing well at this time. I thought one plant was dead on arrival but it's greened up and is now doing fine. They are in a raised planter on my patio for now as I await my strawberry pot. I'm hoping for some delicious strawberries this year. So far, so good. Update: they all died within 2 weeks. Full disclosure, I did not plant them according to the instructions that came with them which was for outdoor plants. They were on a patio in a raised planter. I tried to save the last one by putting it in a pot outside, but it died too. :(

Within three weeks all but two plants died. I am a seasoned gardener and followed all standard instructions for bare root strawberry plants. Out of the packaging, 8 of the 11 shipped plants revived and opened leaves. Of those 8, 6 plants failed to acclimate and reset the root systems in their new locations, slowly dying back. The remaining 2 are thriving. It is entirely possible that 2020 shipping challenges negatively impacted the viability of these plants, but a 20% survival rate is disappointing.

These taste good, and were easy to grow, but the berries never got bigger than 1/2 - 1 inch. I never got more than 10 berries from these plants-- averages 1 berry per plant. Not a great harvest. I planted the berry plants in 4 fourteen inch hanging planters with sand in the bottom and organic potting soil on top. I planted them 3 plants spaced in each 14" pot. I didn't follow the directions to plant them in the ground one foot apart.

Received the dry root strawberries in the time promised. Since the temperature here has been hot, I started them in pots and I'm keeping the plants inside until the temperature drops. I received 10 berries plus 2 extras. Ten of the plants now have at least two leaves, the other 2 have just sprouted. Very happy!

I received these about 2 weeks ago . I got very nice bareroot plants but couldn't plant right away so put them in the refrigerator. They sat there for over one week. I was sad I thought I had ruined them. But no they have all but one greened up immediately and within 24 hours look very viable. Very pleased with my purchase will buy again!!

I soaked the roots for 20 minutes then planted them. The leaves started to grow then they died. So disappointed.

Received on time and planted immediately. Every plant started to grow within a few days.
