Great book on reaching the next level in abdominal muscle development and fitness.
I was not even aware this book existed until about 1.5 months ago. What a pleasant surprise this book has turned out to be for me. I was always interested in having nice washboard abs. I was in fairly good shape even before reading this book. However, my results had reached somewhat of a plateau until I found this book. The book gives very good advice about obtaining good looking abdominal muscles in a realistic manner. Danny Kavadlo does not make any crazy claims. He simply spells out in very good detail what one needs to do in order to possess the best possible abdominal fitness that an individual can obtain. The author covers nutrition, fasting, stretching and a vast variety of exercises for beginners, intermediate and advanced training. He makes it very clear that results will take time, require lots of discipline and hard work and also will vary from person to person. Danny Kavadlo, in my opinion, is a terrific motivator and trainer. His book has allowed me to already see amazing results in only a short time. I am very impressed by this book. I think that it is one of the finest fitness books that I have ever read. It is presented in a friendly but informative format. It is easy to read with many photographs and plenty of good tips laced with some humor. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to develop an attractive and fit abdomen and body. Bravo!!!

Resource I Keep Coming Back To
Diamond Cut Abs … trust me the idea that he isn’t doing anything is as erroneous as thinking glutes magically appear without effort. He plays around with his abs (and body) every chance he gets. He gives you specific and abundant exercises for beginner, intermediate, and advanced. His happiest moments are when he brings ab work into his daily life such as the playground or park. He shows you how to make it FuN! This book isn’t fluff, it’s packed with useable info you will refer to as you GaiN.Detailed and usable kitchen advice in the book as wellExcellent addition to your resources! Well written!

Good But Lacks Specifics
Good book, would recommend it to people who are beginning their journey towards getting a six pack. As someone with a few years experience training i knew most of the stuff in here.Basically he advises people to eat a low grain diet with minimal sugars & processed food... With plenty of fruits & veggies. Sound advice, but if you're looking for a more specific diet/training program to cut body fat you won't find it here. I found the advice to be good but not specific enough. For instance he says work abs "several times per week", which could mean almost anything... most training books give a specific number. He also says " eat less" to get into a caloric deficit to cut fat, but doesnt give any details on how much to eat or how to know if you're in a deficit. There are some great tips in the book though especially on different types of fasting, and eating with the seasons. And an extensive ab exercise section with everything from beginner to advanced movements.

A pleasant surprise: very well written
I have probably read over a hundred books on weight training and bodybuilding in the last 25 years, I follow blogs and read magazines. I rarely see anything exceptional or new anymore. I like the new trend on bodyweight strength training and chalistenics, having directed my training towards that for the last four or five years now. Some of my more recent purchases have inculded books from Pavel, Coach Wade, Al Kavadlo, et. al. - so I could say "I've read them all". Having established that, I was very pleasantly surprised By this book. Danny is a very good writer. His style and the stories have a personal feeling to them, yet they are very well written and edited. Although for a full body workout I recommend books by Wade, Danny is better at writing a book than any other on the subject, including his brother Al. I hope he will write more on other subjects, although abs seem to be his "specialty". I especially loved how he handles the nutritional aspect of training. The photography is also excellent, but so it has been on all the Dragondoor publications with Kavaldo bros as models. All in all, a very good book, best one on abs, very good on nutrition advise and icing on the cake: very interesting read. Highly recommend!

Awesomely simple
I have the book since it came out, and since, i have tried every "diet" that exists. (omnivorous, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, keto, carnivore, intermittent fasting...) and to sum up and make those 3-4 years trials short,Just stick to what Danny is preaching in his book. AKA simplicity, eat real food and don't overcomplicate things.I greatly recommand that book ! Awesome. Thank you Danny.

The best book on Abs. Period.
I have been lucky to have been trained by Danny at a PCC workshop and respected his truly down to earth and simple, cut the crap attitude to both life and calisthenics. In fact I wish I had access to his wisdom when I was younger! I have been struggling with food and the psychological journey that getting abs demands from you and this book is like a wake up call to how you should think about abs, nutrition and what you need to do to get those abs a poppin. We live in a time where things can be massively overcomplicated and fitness and ab attaining programmes are a dime a dozen. It's hard to filter out all the crap but really it's all about keeping it simple and effective and this book is that and so much more. If you only buy one book on Abs, make it this one. I read it cover to cover in less than 2hrs and it lit a fire in me. I am excited to put it all into practice.
