Got rid of oil pressure light on VW GTI mk6
Easy to install, worked well. The electrical connector is longer than in the OEM part, but it worked regardless. I purchased a 24 mm Tekton deep socket to do this job.

The product failed! It leaks at the center or the wire connection !Buy oem if possible!

Failed in about 6 months
Once installed the switch cleared my oil pressure warning, but the issue came back after about 6 months. Oil level was good and pressure measured fine with a gauge. I went with an OEM/factory sensor and the problem was solved again. This was in a 2013 VW GTI.Overall, if you’re in a pinch this will probably work, but don’t expect it to last very long.
