SO worth it!
I'm absolutely satisfied with this purchase. I've bought other "Magic Eraser" knockoffs on Amazon (this is my 3rd time buying these and each time has been from a different source) and so far these are my favorite. They're thick and the quality is comparative to the actual Magic Eraser brand, but for just a fraction of the price.Honestly, I only see 2 differences between Mr Cleans Magic Erasers and these: 1) Mr Clean Magic Erasers have a wavy like design on it's surface. This is more for aesthetic purposes than for functional ones. It doesn't make them work any better. 2) Mr Clean Magic Erasers are expensive. These knock offs are affordable. I live in Seattle, Washington and for the brand name we're paying $6.99 for a box of 9 pads at Target. This is equivalent to about $0.78 per pad give or take. I purchased these here for $12.99 for 50 pads which is equivalent to $0.26 per pad.As far as size goes, they're really close and actually THESE ARE THICKER THAN THE MR CLEAN MAGIC ERASERS!! Mr Clean Original pad dimensions = 11.7cm x 5.9cm x 2.6cm. These pad dimensions = 10cm x 7 cm x 3cm so not quite as long but wider and thicker!I've read reviews where people are complaining that they wear out too fast. I call b.s. The name brand and these are made of the EXACT SAME SINGLE INGREDIENT: Melamine resin foam. Yes, they do break down after being used, but so do the expensive ones just the same. This is due to its material make-up, Melamine, an organic base high in nitrogen. In foam form, melamine works as an awesome abrasive but, because it is so pourous, it isn't indestructible and will begin to deteriorate the more it is used. My point is they last as long as they should and wear out because of their chemistry, not because they lack quality. I hope all my research helps you in deciding whether you want to chance buying these or not. The side by side comparison makes it pretty simple in my opinion.

Very effective, less $$
These are a great, cost effective alternative to the name brand magical sponges. Soaked in a solution of water, plus a teaspoon each of baking soda and borax (which comes in the product sold in stores), they do just as good of a job. For a fraction of the cost, and a little diy assembly, these are an excellent value for your money.

Cleans well.
Does the job for the price. Cleans well just don’t hold up long. But for the price, I can just throw them away!

These do the job!
These are the equivalent to the sponges from the bald guy with the earring, at about 1/4 of the price. Great wall washers! These are what you want if you're trying to clean magic marker or pen from a wall without scrubbing all the paint off the wall in the process. Melamine sponges may tear or shred if you hit a bump on a flat surface, and will wear and decrease in size with use. If you scrub aggressively or use them on a rough surface, they will wear out pretty quick. Having 50 of them on hand is not necessarily a bad thing- you are gonna find stuff to do with them when you see what they can do for you! For those who want something environmentally friendly- If you use these long enough, there isn't really much left to throw away. I take care of a school, and using light to moderate pressure, I get about 4 to 6 hours of wall cleaning out of a sponge before it is basically useless. At that point, the sponge is less than 10% of its original size, so there is not much to discard. These do a great job for me, and I appreciate the value. The money I save by using these might go toward a head shave and a gold earring!

Work like a champ!
I can't believe I never used these before. Of course this is the generic version of the magic sponge, but they last long, don't break up And work great on my old sink, the new shower, and anything else that needs cleaning.

Not worth the money.
These aren't nearly as good as Magic Eraser or even store brands. They quickly disintegrate and seem to dissolve mid-use. Won't buy again.

Forget overpaying for the bald guy at the store. Buy in bulk here and save!
50 for under $11 bucks is a steal compared to what you pay for the name brand ones in the store. And considering that these literally fall apart as you use them and sometimes you need to use multiple this is the best bang for your buck. Use them to clean white shoes, glass stove tops, bath tubs, car tires and wheels, walls and floors, just about anything you can scrub you can use these for. First time I used these to scrub my tub after I bought my house I couldn't believe the amount of filth that came up and that was after I had already used an abrasive bleach cleaner on it. Only minor complaint was that I almost tossed them in the trash when they where delivered with some other items because they were wrapped in black plastic and I thought it was packing protection.
