Withou cloud access, then your next best option is something like iSpy server for remote IP access outside ofAndroid/iOS devices
Pros:1. can be configured as an integrated alarm system with siren, and 433Mhz type sensors (smoke detector, door alarm, etc). I have not tried this feature yet, therefore I can't comment further on this.2. No need for DDNS for remote web access, but the alternative has several limitations as provided by the manufacturer. See below.3. Motion sensor and alerts are accurate and timely. Did successfully send remote alerts to my cell and email address with image attachments. This configuration took very little effort once the camera and network setup was completed.4. IR night imagery is decentBefore I delve into the cons, firstly a word of caution if you're a novice or a newbie to IP-based devices, or gadgets in general. If you're, then I advise against purchasing this camera for reason explained below.Cons:1. No PC support software, period. Unless you're a techie then your closes/best option is to configure something like a iSpy server for remote PC via other than Android or iOS devices.2. NOT IP-Based in a true sense. I.e. you can't access it remotely using Web browser such as Firefox or IE. The only way to access the camera remotely on a PC is either thru a Cloud Server routed via who knows where! (anyone can be viewing your data at the same time from anywhere), or as mentioned above setting up your own third-party iSpy server access.3. You can't setup the camera using your PC or a web interface. The only way to setup/configure the camera is using an Android/iOS application, and only after you've setup the cameras and the Android/IOS devices on the same network first. The Android/iOS applications, both have several limitations, crash frequently, and sometimes stop working altogether and uninstall/reinstall is required. It's rather an awkward way to configure your camera, which is thru another poorly-developed Android/iOS application!!! I believe that the camera itself is not the culprit, but the Androiid/iOS application software used to configure, interface with and operate the camera.5. The manufacture/listing claims 10 online users can view the camera simultaneous. This is incorrect, only ONE user can access the camera video stream at time. I.e. if you try to view the camera via two Android/iOS devices you'll get a Camera Busy signal.6. Daytime colors and hues are off. Gray shows as Blue, for example. There is no way to adjust the camera features or colors as claimed by manufacturer/listings.7. The accompanied user manual is very limited and poorly written. Not to mention again, that there is no online support or documentation.8. Camera refresh frames per second (fps) is lower than claimed. Actual measured fps <=10fps with WIFI/LAN and 4G networks. The manufacturer listed as 1-30fps, which is a very wide range to contend with!!!9. No manufacturer support, documentation or drivers . Good luck finding it other than on a Chines website. After you've visit www.escam.cn, all relevant information is in Chines.I gave it 3 stars because of the innovative idea of trying to configure the camera via an Android/iOS devices that, supposedly, requires little or no technical knowledge as to networking, SMTP/POP setup, etc., from the user. But that backfired, accompanied by no documentation or Internet support.10. No HTTPS/SFTP. i.e. all communications with the camera (such as password) are not secure.11. Unless there is a trick to it, you can't set a static IP as the manufacturer claims.Overall, if you're a techie and you want something to play with, this isn't a too bad of a camera. I plan on buying two more of these cameras just for the primary purpose of setting a 433Mhz security/alarm systems around them.

No complaints.
It's not quite all that I expected; But it's OK.
