The quality of the components is good for its price, though easy to scratch on surface. However, the assembly manual needs much improvement. It's lack of necessary details and tips for installation. So quite likely, you will have to assemble, disassemble and reassemble a few times for some components before getting it done right. This is not desirable, since one might start concerning about the safety of the bunk bed since each time the joints may get looser. You can't expect the first time assembler to figure out all the details with such a short installation instruction without necessary details.

It arrived super secure enclosed In a humongous wood panel shipping crate held together with screws. Within that contained the five boxes comprising all the bed pieces. Most of the bed pieces were well finished and further protected with foam sheet wrap. Assembly was mostly straightforward once all pieces were unpacked and accounted for. Once assembled, the finished product was very beautiful and sturdy. Both top and bottom bunks easily supported an adult weight of over 225 lbs. and felt very comfortable with decent quality mattresses of 9" height. The safety alone of the integrated rails on top bunk far exceed that of standards in decades past. I am extremely confident in its safety and that those rails will prevent accidental falls from top bunk. The children love their new bed and fall asleep effortlessly Everytime. Now the negatives. The instructions can be more clearer with identification of the wooden parts to aid in identification and corresponding labels on wood pieces as it would save more time. Some of the predrilled holes did not line up perfectly and had to be redrilled to line up for a suitable fit. The holes for the mattress support brackets were not drilled. They were only marked and useless as the markings were incorrect and unaligned. Additionally, the underbed drawer was boxed without packing material and arrived with finish defects to drawer faces from rubbing bare against cardboard box. Curiously, there are drilled holes near each other on top and bottom bedposts which I assume could be for decorative brackets to secure both beds together but there were no other parts included. They negatively stand out from the complete appearance of the bed. Overall, this is a great bed for its price but I wish they could have addressed these minor design flaws. I recommend but may require a bit of effort and patience for those that are not generally handy with tools and assembly.

The bed is nice and sturdy. Good quality! Assembly, in the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. Instructions contain letters and numbers assigned to the parts, but the parts are not labeled, except for the hardware bags. That caused the huge inconvenience o having to disassemble the bed a couple of times.

Great bunk beds for my girlfriends two boys! They are happy with them. Assembly wasn’t difficult at all. Great purchase!

Excellent purchase. These beds were the perfect size for our boy's bedroom. The instructions were easy to follow and took a few hours to assemble buy myself. These beds come highly recommended.
