I purchased this after reading the reviews and hoped that I would have a good experience if I paid attention to what went wrong with others. I had a great experience. The SD card is built in. There are several simple steps to work the camera. You just need to find the best way to ensure you're recording. The time was slightly off after I edited the file. For me that was not a big deal. It was off by a few minutes. The camera detected on my laptop with no issue and I could transfer files easily. At first I spent time trying to remember if I was recording or not and would forget. Now I take the glasses off or pull them ahead of my eyes so I can see the status of the blue light. The blue light tells you if you're recording or not. I went on vacation and used the glasses for several excursions. The difference it made in capturing my memories were PRICELESS! I would recommend the glasses to someone else.

So let me start by saying I got these to deal with a Neighbor. Received them a few wks ago and Absolutely love them, The picture quality is great for such a small camera! The neighbor has no idea that while he is threatening me He's being recorded! (Can do that in my state) so The other day I went out to cut the lawn and grabbed the glasses only to find they would turn on but then Shutdown immediately? I have received Courtesy emails from the Vendor so I went to them to find out Y this was happening? Kevin responded within 45 mins and asked for info about it and a video to show what was going on. After a day of giving info, the next morning he emailed to say Pull out the SD card and reinsert it. So I did and it still shut down, I remembered I have a 2GB sd card so put that in and Viola, Its working great again! So Kevin messaged me saying my New Sd card is on its way, Cant thank him enough for the hands on support!Now the Glasses, The video quality is quite good for a small camera lens, Just an Fyi, The camera angle is about 65° Downward so be sure ur looking up at who or what ur recordingBut once I saw this Its really not a problem, They are easy to operate, Tap the button and it turns on and starts recording, Tap it again and It stops and Saves it. To turn them off press and hold for 3 secs and its off. They arent as bulky as they look once u've had them on for a few mins u forget they're on.For the price these are a great deal. My order included a 32gb Sd card which saved me $12. So If ur in need of a way to record something or someone this is a great product to start out with! U can get 120 mins of Video off 1 charge. The one drawback or problem with them is they dont stay in Standby very long so when u need to Record or take a pic u have to hold the Button up to 4 secs to turn it on then wait a few secs then Hold the button 2 secs to start recording. I've just started recording b4 I get near the Neighbor this way its already going. Would definitely recommend these if ur in need of a way to Discreetly Record something or if ur just out on a trail or riding ur Quad or Dirt bike!Update 6/21/19Received My New Glasses Today and they're Working Great. As I said b4 Customer service is great and as promised I've got the replacement in 3 days. Definitely nice to deal with a company that will not Only Help u out but stand behind they're products. I will do a short video and Upload it in a few days just so u can see the Quality of the Video.Update 7/6/19 Ok so Ive added a short video, as u can see the video quality is great, Ive used these a few more times since the replacement came and have had no more issues, I wish I had bought these sooner, They work great for what I need them for, I hope all this info helps you out, I would Recommend these to anyone, They have so many uses that you can do with them, nature walk dirt bike ror quad riding, Motorcycle rides if needed u can use these in ur house to monitor an area, just turn them on them record place them on a table or shelf and they'll record up to 2 hrs, when u get back u can plug them in to ur laptop or PC and view the files to see if anyone has come in ur home that shouldn't be there! Good luck.Update 8/23/2019 So its been a few months and the glasses are working great, the video quality still amazes me for such a small camera, I've seen a few people asking about indoor video quality, I've done a few inside videos and they came out just as good, I had 1 video I did that only had a 100watt bulb from a table lamp and it was plenty to keep the video from being to dark. This is a frustrating review as there is so much that these glasses get right. The video quality is great for the price.If we ignore specs for the moment, these glasses are a miraculous gift for your head that lets you record what you're doing with your hands! The camera is more than good enough for that. It's capturing what my eyes capture! That's a wonderful gift you can't get out of recording with a phone, since you'd have to hold it with your hands.The video quality itself though is just adequate, but certainly fantastic for the price. It's not iPhone quality, and it doesn't actually look like there are 1080 pixels (I know technically there are). I would say it's as good as recording video on maybe the original iPhone from a decade ago, or one of the earliest Android devices. It doesn't pick up much in very dark rooms.The most frustrating aspect of the glasses is the direction the camera is faced. Humans naturally look down. When you stand straight with your posture, you are still generally looking down slightly with your eyes: noticing what your hands are doing, noticing what's on the table ahead of you, and potentially seeing what's on the floor a distance away so you don't step on anything. Unfortunately, the camera lense in these glasses is pointed directly forward, so most of what I just listed is not captured by the camera. To resolve this, I wear the glasses at an extreme angle, with the glasses sitting diagonally on my head, barely braced onto my head, so that I can actually capture what I'm viewing. A second iteration of these glasses would be angled maybe 20 degrees downwards.

Ok, let me start by saying I ordered a pair, and once they arrivedthey had a very minor defect. I thought I would just let the companyknow about it with a voicemail. I decided against leaving a message,but the company called me back anyway from caller ID. I told themabout the problem and they went above and beyond to make sure I wassatisfied with their product and sent me a new pair. No defects onthis one and they work GREAT! Really easy to use, the picture qualityis great, and they also look good. If I could give them 10 stars Iwould!

Nice glasses, like the heading states, these sunglasses will take some getting used to but once you do I think you'll like them. Also, they seem to be pretty durable and stylish, just hope they're built to last.

They are bulky and look funny on but they work good.

I wanted a lightweight camera to capture my POV, while filming my short film (Behind The Scene), because an action cam is a little bit heavy and can be uncomfortable for after a long period of time.The build is sturdy, the video quality is good and the fact that they are tight around you head, made them a little bit stable to capture the scenery.The sound is ok, but after contacting MingSung, they told me that the team is still working on that issue. For those who want to use them as vlogging accessories or fist person view during an unboxing video, my tip is to capture your voices on an external recorder and sync in post with the original sound from the sunglasses.The customer service is fast and extremely polite.

After I fully charge this sunglasses. I’m having trouble operating the video and photo. I followed the operating procedures from the manual but it’s not recording. I called the Minsung customer support and the engineering department told me to change the micro SD card that comes with the glasses. So I bought a new micro SD card and it finally works. So if you’re having the same problem. Just change to a new micro SD card. The micro SD card that comes with the glasses might be defective. Just be aware of that. I’m also glad that the seller Minsung refund me with a gift card to compensate for the defective micro SD card. Very good customer service. This glasses doesn’t have video stabilization. It’s a little bulky on the side frames because of the electronics hidden inside. Not heavy when you wear it. The comfort is okay. The video and sound capture are clear in 1080p. Almost HD. All in all this glasses is awesome and I love it.

These are the most comfortable glasses I have had. They fit snugly, and also have a neck lanyard so the glasses can just hang from my neck with no danger of falling to the ground. The video quality is excellent, sound is clear. Very pleaased with these glasses.Ian

Solid construction with excellent video and picture quality. Very good audio recording for your voice only.Does not record other voices or sounds from a distance very well. 2 hours to fully charge and 1hr 33min of recording at room temperature. At -9 Celsius the camera stopped functioning and i was able to get only 20 min of recording. At -4 Celsius the camera worked fine and i experienced no issues. The instruction for on and off are a little confusing, you have to hold the start button for 3 seconds to turn on and hold for 3 seconds to turn off, all other instructions are clear. The glasses are slightly bulky but well balanced. Overall good product.

Very impressive, video quality is great even not bad in lower light. Very stable video when you move your head, unlike many other video capture devices. Looks and fits great and can wear comfortably over my prescription glasses. Would buy again!
