historically breath-taking, artwork to die for, and a story as gentle as summer wind. the entire "Otoyomegatari" series is a worthy and worthwhile investment of even the most casual of manga/comic book readers.( ′ ̅‿ ̅‵) -♡

Beautiful artwork, great arc
It goes without saying that Kaoru Mori's manga is beautifully drawn. There's so much to feast your eyes on in A Bride's Story; you get your money's worth just looking at her characters and scenery. What really makes this volume special is the focus she has given to the twin sisters from the previous volume. In 5, our twin heroines tie the knot, but not without a few rambunctious misadventures before all is said and done.I miss Amir, but the twins' story is touching and I'm glad they got this volume all to themselves.

Marvelous Story, beautifully drawn
Fans of Kaoru Mori's art style wil doubtless enjoy her latest in the Bride's Story series. A fascinating view of the silk road in the late 1800's, it is humorous, engaging, and warm-hearted.If you have enjoyed previously released works such as Emma, this is a real treat and shouldn't be missed.

Another solid volume
Kauru Mori's art is as gorgeous as ever. The main plot of the twins' wedding had more cultural interest that plot interest, though, so I'm looking forward to seeing more of our A-plot characters next time.

So much fun!
The media could not be loaded. A volume full of hijinks that also show off the dynamics between the twins and their lovers. I revisit this volume when I need a good read because it doesn't disappoint. Give this series a try!

More Brides for More Brothers: ) If you have ...
More Brides for More Brothers :)If you have been following the story of the various brides in Kaoru Mori's fabulously illustrated stories, then you won't need urging to buy this next instalment - the wedding of the twins! Suffice it to say that they are not prepared for the day and manage to get themselves into bother on the most important day of their lives so far (for their families), in the process learning more about themselves, their grooms, their family and what it means to be a bride :)The illustrations are as lavish and intricate as usual and the characterisation is every bit as solid - in fact the brides really come into their own in this story, maybe even more than in volume 4. And meanwhile, beneath all the festivities, hints of a larger, more dangerous plot begin to surface.
