My grandaughter wanted one of these swim suits for camp because all the other girls had one. Not familiar with thiese versus traditional bathing suits, I bought it in a hurry without comparing prices - one of the luxuries of gramma-hood. They want it, I buy it. That's my guilty pleasure. When a young mom relative saw it as soon as it arrived she informed me the price I paid for one of these was outrageous. Did what she suggested & bought a cheaper version at Target intending to send this one back until a consumer experiment was born. My granddaughter already took the tags off this one & wore it & loved how it felt. The next day, by mistake, I packed the cheaper one for camp. Senior moment. She came home from camp with a rash and confused. Why did the new swim suit feel great on the first wearing and terribly uncomfortable the second day. Once we realized what happened, I came to the conclusion, as I often have, cheaper is not better. Terrific swim set. Highly recommend. Cannot comment on the SPF claim since little Lulu has beautiful olive skin that doesn't burn, but for comfort, washability and looks, this one takes the cake. Nothing's too good for our princess. Planning to get another color, perhaps the one-piece zip up so she can win her cabins daily quick change contest at camp. LOL ... Love this swim set!

This pink color on the shorts is kind of see through. It also rides up in the back so it doesn't look too great...almost like wearing nothing.Also the material or maybe the light color seems to attract dirt that does not wash out. There were dark specks left in the fabric even after washing. The swim suit itself looks cute and I like the color. I wish the shorts were lined better though.

fits perfect. Cute patterns and durable material.I will be buying more when my kids grow out if these.

Barely used any sunscreen; just on lower arms & legs. No sunburn after 2hrs in the pool, with a hat, on a 100° day

Comfy and great looking. My daughter wears during hikes, biking and just running around.

I bought this suit for our daughter last year and loved that it offered sun protection as well as good looks. 2 piece convenience for bathroom time, but one piece coverage- and It is nicely made and holds up well - would last two or more years if she didn't grow so much! It is nice to find a girls suit that doesn't have a bikini bottom, this is so much more comfortable for a little swimmer - doesn't creep up her bum.

Love these. Get lots of compliments and they work well (the sun-protection).
