Ridiculously expensive price tag but the build quality and aesthetic beauty of the stand are impeccable.I bought the padauk wood model for $199.99 and mercifully there was no tax or shipping charges. It looks exactly as advertised. Because of the price I would be hesitant to recommend it to anyone I know and I’d be embarrassed to admit how much I had to pay should anyone ask. Luckily my wife didn’t ask and I certainly didn’t tell her....she would not be happy. If it wasn’t so expensive I would buy another one for myself and a couple more to give as gifts.I’ve had it about a month and it is still generating a kind of white dust but Zither does warn that the padauk wood will do this for a time. Hopefully this will eventually go away.Price complaints aside I do love this stand and am glad I own it. It’s beautiful and I can use it in any room in the house and not feel like I need to put it away when we’re expecting company.In spite of my displeasure with the price I could not give this awesome stand anything less than 5 stars. I feel that product ratings should be based solely on the quality of the product and it’s not like I didn’t know how much it cost when I made the decision to purchase it.*UPDATE* - September 2019After 10 months my Padauk Wood stand is still generating the white film at the same rate and in the same quantities as it did when I first got it. I’m beginning to doubt that this issue will ever subside. I use the recommended English Oil religiously but within a day or two the white film is back full force.Hope this helps others who might be trying to decide between Padauk or some other wood. Unless you don’t mind having to oil your stand every other day I recommend choosing a different wood. Really bummed that I didn’t.

I purchased two Zither guitar stands, one cherry, one mahogony (they actually compliment each other nicely) for my two 600 series Taylor guitars. One holds the 6 string (600 series), the other a 12 string (600 series) during my practice sessions in my room. Guitars are in the cases when not in practice sessions. These stands are excellent for my purpose. Although I do not display the guitars when not in use, if you wanted to you could very easily. I've tried a couple of different tubular styles, thinking that was all I needed for my practice time - but I wasn't satisfied. With one style I thought the guitar could easly fall over backwards (the back leg was quite short), with another it supported the guitar at the neck but the guitar rested on a padded surfaced tubular support. The legs of that style stuck out further, with a concern of some day tripping over it.Such is not the case with the Zither units I obtained. Each supports each guitar exactly as designed. (The 12 string required just a very slight adjustment to the yoke, but that was easy, after getting a very quick response back from Zither on how to make the adjustment. If you need to do this, it is ony a little bit - to the point you won't think you even did much). The guitar hangs suspended by the yoke, never touching any part of the supporting structure. However, if it ever did, there is a pad placed on the location in the event it did. It will take a lot to tip that stand over. For me, it works perfect, During my practice sessions both guitars are easily in reach, and are easily replaced on their stand.

I was somewhat reluctant to buy this, but when it arrived, all of my tubular stands were given away!!! It is VERY stylish, holds my guitars perfectly, and the company that makes these is WONDERFUL!!!! Shipping was fast fast, and it is a piece of cake to assemble!!! In fact, I ordered another one for a birthday, and only had a few days to get it!! They shipped it within an hour of getting the order!!! Can't say enough about the quality, and integrity of Zither!!! You won't be sorry you bought one!!!!

Not a big review writer, but felt compelled on this item. This stand is expensive and for a reason - it is quality. Well built and from the moment I opened the package, I could tell the manufacturer was very focused on not only the quality out of the box, but you keeping it in top condition going forward. I have a very nice Martin accoustic and I love to play it and show it off. So, where is that very nice Martin? It is hanging on this very nice stand. It does not make the Martin look any better... Martin has done a perfect job in that department. However, it presents it in a simplistic classy manner that will cause any guest in your home (especially a guitar player) to say, "whoa - look at that"!

Design a little more wobbly than I would like, but it is just physics at work. Great quality, nice looking.

Received this as a gift and am very impressed with the quality of the stand. Gorgeous shape and fits my guitar perfectly. Easy to assemble. Love it!

A perfect way to display a hand made Spanish guitar. Lovely lines! Very discreet when seen face on and beautifully simple and elegant from tge side view.

Expensive but very nice quality.
