Added it to my stir fry. Very good and spicy

This is the second time I have purchased this product. It is consistent in product quality and reliability of delivery. I am likely to order again since I have no access to these types of Asian sauces where I live.

I love the taste of this. I make a batch of sausage or beef and keep it as a topping for ramen or rice.

I wasn't going to give up in my pursuit for the closest to authentic mapo tofu, thus, I had to have this. Perhaps other brands are more authentic, but this was not only the cheapest, but had information on the jar in both Chinese and English. I can't quite trust a label with nothing written in English at least once.This not only made my recipe taste like what I'd had at a restaurant, but it's versatile and can be used in other things, such as meat marinades, flavoring a bit of rice, or adding a delightful wake up call to a bowl of soup. I'd definitely buy it, again. Only thing I would change is the amount of salt, though; the fermented beans give it such a craveworthy, distinctive flavor, that all the sodium isn't needed.

Jar arrived in good condition and Lee Kum Kee is reliably good.

I recommend anyone ordering this item to inspect it for spoilage and an unsealed lid immediately upon receipt.I did not attempt to use sauce immediately and did not pay any attention to the shrink wrap around the entire jar.The shrink wrap concealed the fact that the jar had been unsealed. When I remove the wrap the first thing I noticed was the "button" in the center of the lid was already in the unsealed, popped-out position.Once i opened the jar I saw the blackened top surface and spilled content around the rim of the jar. it had been several months and I just threw the jar into the garbage bin. I did not attempt to call customer service.

I bought this product to make mapo tofu. It came out exactly how I expected following a Japanese version of mapo tofu recipe.
