MC storyline... my Kryptonite! EEK!
I started this book pretty sure I would love it. It has all the elements I crave. Romance, bad boy bikers, part of a series that I have a major addiction too, and of course an author that I am obsessed with. Ugh I was WRONG on so many levels and underestimated how personally it would haunt me.The darn prologue, YES PROLOGUE, de-stroyed me. UGH! My little girl heart broke and childhood feelings that I thought had long ago disappeared, stared resurfacing as I remembered some of my hurts from childhood. This author took me there. SO BEAUTIFULLY written!Red and Kylee are so wonderful together. Both are struggling with finding their identity but from different issues. Of course, even throughout all the turmoil plan for some HO-LY HOTNESS as they spice up the page together. WINK!Red is the son of some beloved characters in the Hellion Series and yes if you read the other stories, you might not be surprised by some of the happenings but I was so shocked at the feelings it produced.Well it wouldn’t be an MC romance without some high levels of angst. You definitely get that with Kylee’s backstory. Umm can you say traumatic. That girl is the definition of a true survivor. EEK.I apologize if I turned this review into a therapy session but I LOVE this book and needed to talk about the way it made me feel. I can’t help but believe that parts of this story could resonate with anyone no matter what your life experiences are. AMAZING five stars... Happy Reading!

Emotional, drama filled ride
I got to say this was an emotional book. I was worried how I would like this book because book 1 annoyed me. I felt the story and drama built to a climax and then it was like a foot drop to the bottom of the mountain. This book also had a longer drop to the bottom BUT at the critical action point it was over. Plus that particular moment was only told in Red's POV. I feel Kylee needed a POV there. Don't get me wrong Red's AH HA moment was very poignant at that point but you got Kylee sounding all big and bad as a front when she thinks she is on her on and then when being moved she is terrified. So we need to know how she is feeling and what she was going through right then. This isn't just Red"s journey.Overall the depth of emotion you feel Red and Kylee go through on their ride of self discovery, to arrive at inner peace, true love, a sense of belonging, and most of all family is truly touching. There is insta attraction and connection, lots of drama, some sizzle, and a feeling The Dragons Tail really does bring lovers and family together.

Another captivating addition to the series!
Bastard in It was the second book in Chelsea Cameron’s Hellions Ride On series, the Hellions Ride spin off series highlighting the next generation.Kenneth “Red” Oleander was the first born son of Sass and Tank from Forever Ride (book two, original series). He grew up in the MC and was grounded in family, loyalty and brotherhood. We learned immediately what we knew from Forever Ride, but what Red was just learning. His foundation was rocked but he was learning to cope.Kylee May Grayson was on the run. She was homeless and had secrets but she was strong and determined to prevail. After many years, she found her way back to Haywood’s Landing, not in the same position, but back home none the less.I thoroughly enjoyed Bastard In It. I loved both the storyline and the characters. Camaron started out with a suspenseful and mysterious vibe that was unraveled as the layers were peeled back. I was kept intrigued and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. There were two underlying storylines that although weren’t related, had similarities that brought cohesion to the overall plot. For me it was a five star except for the numerous editing errors, thus the four star rating. All in all, it was a fast and heartfelt read and I didn’t want it to end. Red and Kylee took us on an emotional journey that I’m glad I took. Camaron summed it up best through Kylee’s thoughts: “We are these two lost souls finding our way through it all together.”

A brilliant but emotionally hard read.
Chelsea always, and I mean always knows how to pack a punch with her writing. When she releases a new book I know it’s one I won’t be able to put down until it’s finished. Instinctively I knew that this book was going to be special and I think that’s why it’s taken me this long to read it even though it’s been on my kindle since release day. The emotions literally drip from the pages, my heart feels like it’s been through the ringer, bruised, battered but still beating, much like our main characters. Hope doesn’t die, no matter what life throws at you, strength gives you a backbone of steel. That strength and hope will stand strong in the face of each hurdle life throws at you and Chelsea has given that pearl of wisdom in such a way with this story. Courage, wisdom, emotionally charged in both good and heartbreaking ways, this story will stay at the front of the mind for a very long time for the simple fact it’s one that even when broken, hope never dies and love can conquer all. Til your next book Chelsea.

Love the Hellions!!!
I am so enjoying this series! I love the Hellions so much and to see how the next generation is doing is awesome. I absolutely loved Red and Kylee. This story, just WOW!!! I really seem to be feeling this authors stories lately. And this one really made an impression. Kylee must have gone through so much pain growing up. And Red, he was so conflicted. I could totally understand where he was coming from. Kylee came into his life exactly when he needed her, and vise versa! There were a couple of situations I would have liked to have seen better resolutions to but overall it was a fantastic book.

Ok if you want a biker romance not great
A biker romance that goes on and on this author doesn’t know when to stop describing the pain after 2 pages of the same meaning with different words gets a bit boring
