From teenage sensation in the SAW era, bonafide pop star in "Let's get to it", dance-indie chic in the eponymous "Kylie Minogue" and "Impossible Princess" in the mid-Nineties, disco-princess in "Light years", sophisticated chanteuse in "Fever", electro-queen in "Body language", dancefloor-diva in "X", synth-goddess in "Aphrodite", sexy kitten in "Kiss me once", and country gal in "Golden", Kylie goes pop the whole way in the most fun way.This generous 2-disc set omits quite a lot. "Ultimate Kylie" is her first truly comprehensive collection, the only one to feature all 31 of her singles up to 2004. With at least 15+ singles missing from this new one, definitive this is not. At least an extra disc's worth could have been added on with singles from previous collections (ie. "Chocolate", "Giving you up"), those which were completely left out (ie. nothing from the "Kiss me once" album), and some that almost never appear on any best-of ("Finer feelings").Many editions and a variety of formats are available; the must-haves are the deluxe double CD that comes as as a hardback 32-page book with photos from the singles, and the coloured and picture disc vinyls, respectively, that come with a download for all 42 tracks (both feature 20 on disc). "SBIT" is an astonishing career-spanning collection from the UK's darling who remains untouchable for more than 3 decades, an ever changing kaleidoscope of colours and images.

A great collection of Kylie's biggest hits, as well as some less remembered cuts (that are all the more worth revisiting). While the vinyl definitely isn't "definitive" as it only contains 20 tracks, it comes with a download card that lets you download Kylie's massive 42-track singles selection, only missing a few releases from her discography. The record itself is gorgeous mint green coloured. It's a must have for any Kylie fan, and the most comprehensive Kylie collection to date for casual fans of the lady.All in all, a fun way to (re)discover her immaculate discography. The sequencing of the tracks also deserves a shout-out as they flow very well in the order of this release.

Okay, so a fan of the diva herself should give give stars no matter what eh? Well not in this case, no-sir-e-bob! She has to learn that her fans, loyal as we are, are a pedantic bunch of kylites!Of course I refer to chocolate. A small hit maybe, but to write it off all together! Outrageous Ms Minogue. For such an audacious move i shall have to take away a star from you ( but fear not, I shall lock myself away and take a switch to my back until i bleed for you).Just remember, for the fiftieth anniversary make sure Chocolate is on that and I will willingly give you your star back.

Another compilation from Charlene oops sorry Kylie. Got the 2 vinyl set for the missus. Great sound. The vinyl is in a bathroom wall colour but as the missus points out its actually "duck egg". Excuse me ! Apart from the colour scheme lol its actually a great pop compilation and sounds fantastic. Again wait until the price drops near the 20 quid mark or less and get the free standard shipping. 4 stars

Great selection of Kylie's best hits including some new ones with the digital download of 42 tracks.I dropped a star on the vinyl purely for cosmetic reasons as the two vinyls are housed in a singular sleeve. Would've been a great opportunity to showcase the last 30+ years of Kylie's career with album covers to the tracks chosen, concert highlights and so on a gatefold sleeve.The mint green vinyl's are a gorgeous colour and I've not had any pops or jumps. As for the sound that's each to their own. I love it personally and hope we hear more new songs from Kylie soon.

I am unable to comment on the quality or the content of the album, as it was purchased for my collection. It was delivered early and cheaper than the advertised price at the time of ordering. And as i have spent more for older records It is definitely a bargain. I know this isn't very informative but it is better than nothing. As this is a collection of older material I can't see any reason to miss out on it. I mean come on "It Is Green".

First official Greatest Hits since 2004 and it’s certainly the most comprehensive. Spanning over 30 years, Kylie Minogue has never had to resort to shock or political stance throughout her career. A collection covering countless genres, bubblegum to indie, country (not her first experiment with this sound) to flawless dance, you might not like them all however this release is a great trawl through her phenomenal history. It’s a shame her last album (the no.1 Golden) has been a bit overlooked however the top 40 hit Dancing is included.

I opted for the vinyl, as I started collecting vinyl last year after inheriting my Uncle’s vinyl music collection last year. All of Kylie’s best hits are included plus you get 42 digital tracks to download, so I have the best of both works vinyl and digital. I like the whole compilation, which charts her musical career. I love the mint green vinyl, the sound quality is great and it is a great addition to music collection.
