Excellent concise review of the period
Very concise review of the period containing all the pertinent facts. Easy quick read. I enjoyed it. I am having my son read it for homeschooling, supplementing with internet articles. A very good resource with each period broken down in short chapters without any superfluous material, yet interesting additions.

Very informative.
The Renaissance a time of recovery from the dark ages where a lot of innovation was lost.

Some discrepancies
Quite a few mismatches between the text and the audiobook on key dates. And totally wrong on the execution of Miguel Servetus. He wasn't killed by the Catholics for his writing on cardiovascular science. He was killed by the Genevan Protestant authorities with the help of John Calvin, for his writings on theological doctrines.

A good and decent introduction
It is a good and decent introduction to the European Renaissance, as an African myself, it is inspiring to see the path Europe had to take to be where it is at, and how it was detailed in so few pages

I liked it.
It’s good. I enjoyed seeing the time period through the efforts important people of the time. No surprises, but then how could there be?

Great Summary
While the book has some details it didnt delve into everything. That's ok. It is a great starting point for further research. A very quick read but well worth it.

Inaccurate & Biased!
Inaccurate & Biased! The book had some interesting and no doubt valuable information for those that know nothing of the timeframe. However, there were several parts that had very inaccurate, and at times obviously biased, information. That leaves me to wonder how much of what I didn’t already know was accurate.I do not recommend.

History probably right
I found it a useful summary very badly written in parts.
