It sounds silly to wax lyrical about socks but as I wear socks almost every day, they’re quite important in my life. These are the best socks I’ve found: They have just the correct amount of grip to stay up but are not too tight to be uncomfortable. They have a high % of cotton so are cool in the heat but have some man-made fibres so are hard-wearing and are very soft to the touch. They also come in an enormous range of colours to suit anyone and in men’s and ladies’ sizes. Since I found these I haven’t bothered to look elsewhere; I just always buy these.

These socks are genuinely very comfortable and warm and do not hard grip your calves so no discomfort or unsightly ring indents. Sizing is spot on and they're great value. Can definitely recommend!

I have only given three stars as although there is nothing wrong with them, they are not what I expected. I assumed (wrongly) that they had a linked toe, they don’t. I find that sewn toes rub my little toe and I have to twist the sock.I won’t order these again, but as I said above, they are perfectly adequate if you don’t mind the toe seam.

My husband had a DVT 15 years ago which has left his leg enlarged & sensitive. He has several pairs of the standard black soft-socks but these give him the extra pleasure of choosing which colour-pop to wear each day. Aw, bless - he's 78 and shielding, so needs every bit of pleasure he can wring from his day. ;>

These socks while being comfortable, soft and warm do not stay on your feet. They are gentle grip so they don’t grab you but as a result of that they have no staying power. There is no elasticity so even as your putting them on for the first time you know they are not going to remain on your feet. This was the same for all of the pairs. I was very disappointed.

Socks are soft and gentle on swollen tender feet and ankles and consequently make walking comfortable. Just what I wanted.

These were bought as a gift but I own some of these in a different colour so I know that they are very comfortable. They are lovely and sofy and stay that way however many times they get washed. Good quality and very long lasting, I've got some that I bought about 5 or 6 years ago that are still in perfect condition. They are very soft around the top so you don't end up with marks around your ankles at the end of the day, but they aren't so soft that they slide down. I'm gradually replacing my old socks with various designs of these and several members of my family also have multiple sets of these too. They aren't the cheapest socks around but they are the most comfortable ones I've had by far.

Lovely socks, still a teeny bit dent-making when my ankles are very swollen but I think this is the best you can get for that, the tops really are very soft, and they don't slide down.Now the negative - the packaging is TERRIBLE!!! It has those nasty little thin plastic tie things going through every sock to every other sock AND more that go right through the whole 3 pairs AND through the cardboard packaging to each pair of socks, grrrr it's mental and incredibly frustrating, you sit down with a pair of scissors and try desperately not to snip the socks themselves (it's very, very easy to do!), and ten minutes later you're still finding more of the damn things. Really AWFUL. So bad I nearly knocked off 4 stars but thought it wouldn't be fair because the socks are lovely.
