Excellent products
My boy was so excited to received the 3-set walkie-talkies. He took it from the boxes and played with his sisters. The walkie-talkies works perfectly as described. The kids have fun all afternoon. We are planing to go to the national park and this will keep us connected on the trails. Definitely love it.

batteries do not last long with these
We have a ton of fun with these, my three year old used pretty well after a little practice. A lot of time you only hear half the message bc it's a little hard to time the button and speaking even for adults and both parties can not talk at the same time or you hear nothing. Works a good distance away. The batteries do not last at all, by the time I've replaced the batteries so much I could have bought the rechargable ones.

Battery housing broken in 2 of 3
Based on the other reviews, I must have gotten a lemon set. I put batteries in the first one and it turned on just fine, but when I put them in the second one, the metal contact in the battery housing broke right off and it would obviously not turn on. When I put them in the third one, that contact broke right off too. One of the only items from Amazon that I've had to return in years.

Distance sucked
Distance for use was only about a half a mile if that. And that was for a country setting with fields and hardly any trees. Returned them.
