Ancol Medium Choke Chains, 22-inch

Be sure of the size you want to order especially the length. The thickness of this medium one is fine for my Border Terrier boy who is average size.The length can be misleading if you just measure the dogs neck. There should be a lot of moveability on the length.This was delivered quickly and is a bargain price compared to the shops selling the exact brand and size.

Bought this purely as a back up in case the dog slipped out of his harness or the harness broke or came undone,it's just looped under his collar and both ends attached to the lead along with the harness ring,it's just hanging loose.If the worst happens the dog is still attached to the lead.,

It arrived before the said date. It's a good little choke chain but it's much smaller than I thought it would be. To explain I measured my dogs neck just behind his ears and added 3 inches, and thinking the sellers measured the chain part only (not the end rings, because you lose one when it goes through the other) I ordered 20 inch. Much too small. I have now ordered 24inch watch this space!

Got control of a bouncy puppy ! I don’t like check chains but they do teach a lesson quickly. Now we can walk to heel beautifully. Chains can be used in lots of places afterwards. We find them good for holding up bird feeders.

The quality of this product for the price is very good. I bought the chain for training purposes for a short period (couple of days) and it worked a treat, although if using for a longer period I would have wanted a much longer chain. In the description it says it's ok for larger dogs (I have a pointer) and I'd say the length of the chain is suitable for up to medium sized dogs.

Value for money don't normally like choke chains but need to teach my puppy to stop pulling so was a great price as will go in the bin as soon as he has stopped pulling
