Crochet for Kids: Basic Techniques & Great Projects that Kids Can Make Themselves

Obviously , someone ordered this book, used it, and forgot to remove their row count. Page corners for the one item are bent, not badly, but still, it is a used book now.The book itself seems to have some cute projects, maybe a few too basic. I will probably keep as it is for my granddaughter who is just starting to follow directions for crochet.

I bought the book for a little girl interested in learning to crochet. She was so excited

I love this book and so does my 11 year old daughter. My daughter just started to learn how to crochet and I was searching for a book she could use to start new projects. This books is easy to read and follow instructions, has great pictures, and a lot of fun projects. She has already made a couple of hats, pirate eye patch, and is working on a snake stuffed animal. This is great gift for any child interested in learning how to crochet.

This is a super cute crochet book with great introductory information for the beginner, plus LOTS of cute projects that will keep kids busy for quite some time. My daughter is 10, and the starter projects seem about right. She will definitely be able to grow with the book as she crochets her way to the more advanced projects. Beginner projects can be completed fairly quickly, so those new to crochet won't lose interest. The progressively more advanced projects will keep kids hooked. Information is laid out in an easy to read-and-follow manner, and the well-done photography gets kids excited about crochet. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has a little practice, this book is a solid choice!

My 12 year old who just started learning crochet (all by herself) loved this book.It has basic info with detailed explanation with pictures. Easy to follow.The book have so many fun/easy yet very attractive projects.If you are buying this book for young kids (like 5 year old?), you'll be disappointed.Appropriate audience is 10+. Young kids can try but WITH parent's help.

Its too hard fir my child to learn from this book. It needs to be way simpler

Great book for kids. I have been looking for a good book with patterns for my daughter to use. So many of the books are just cheezy. This one is pretty good.

Having read other reviews before purchasing this book I agree that it is hard to see the photos showing you the basic stitches. I learn the stitches from YouTube and illustrations on the Internet.The book has a good selection of projects for children to do, as an adult learning to crochet only a few of the projects are of interest to me namely the alien, cat and snake toys, blanket. I wish I could have seen exactly what projects were in the book before I brought it.So for other people's reference Projects in the book are. Shoelaces, wristbands, cap, jar covers, aliens, small ball, keychain, cowl, hair ties, bowl, leg warmers, hair band, pirate eye patch, scarf, beret, t-shirt motifs, bag, coaster, butterfly's, mitts, flower garland, blanket, cat, snake.Would defiantly buy the book for a young girl.

Bought for my 9 yo girl. The instructions in the book is not very clear and also the photos are very dark to see it clearly. Cant really follow the steps/ instructions. Returned the book.

Simple and good with pictures to explain

Bought it for my niece for Christmas she is crafty and reads well for 7. Really easy to understand the instructions I may buy more in the future.
