Solid frame, but not quite what I'd call "folding"
I got this for hanging a 2U server against a wall in my basement. I had it in a proper rack, but the rack was short and not as deep, and I routinely was beaning myself on it. Since the wall is bare-stud, placing it across two studs was simple to do, giving it a solid mount to the wall and some open area to help with ventilation. I also have a couple of small offset stands to hold the back end, just to be sure, but I don't think they're needed.Pros:* VERY solid build, well designed.* Had no problem holding the 60 pound serverCons:* Came with no instructions.* Lacked mounting hardware (lag bolts, etc).* Came with no retaining nuts (but I have bags of those around)Details:The frame comes with the base plate, two ear plates, two sets of small screws, and two sets of longer screws with locking bolts. The ear plates go into the frame, and the small screws are used to secure them from the top/bottom, tapping directly into the plate (no nuts). You want to tighten these loosely, so the plates can "fold" if you want that feature. The longer bolts secure from the side, and use the nuts to hold them. These longer screws must be removed to fold the ears, but supply extra security when tightened down. The frame also is a little tight for some full width rack servers. In my case, the rail clips on the server (no rails) caught on the ear lips and prevented proper seating. I had to pry the ears toward the ends a bit to get things to fit well, and doubt they would have fit with rails. (And why would you use rails on a vertical mount anyway?) This was not easy to do while trying to also hold a 60 pound server. For lag bolts I had some reasonable ones hanging around already that fit the narrow part of the key in the frame rather well. The spacing happened to line up with my studs, and I of course pre drilled the holes for the lags, as you must to prevent them from breaking the studs. (They're not thin, after all.) If you can't get your lags to fully enter the upper key, worry not. Adding a heavy server will settle them right in.Once mounted, and properly screwed into the top ears the server is nice and secure. I put a couple small shelf brackets under the backend of it just to be safe, about 2mm down from the server chassis actual. A couple days later, they're still not touching, but I feel better that there's something there to catch it if it starts to slip.Overall, this kit could see some improvements. A few lag bolts and an A4 instruction sheet on assembly would be a nice add. But otherwise the item is as shown and works well.IMPORTANT:If you have a typical server, fans generally flow front to back. With a mount like this, that means they'll be fighting the natural flow of heat if you mount it face up. If you have a locking rails (or a solid rail body with back ears), you may be able to mount it face down to avoid this. In my case, I was able to take out and flip the fan assembly so it now flows the other way, and removed the internal shroud (it runs cool anyway, being in the basement). You may want to reconsider a vertical mount if you're running a high-use/hot server.I suspect this rack could also be used well as a horizontal mount, which would reduce the worry about air flow. Perfect for 2U servers with side-mounted SAS drive bays, restoring them to their preferred orientation in chassis. But I'd personally want two sets for that, to have ears on each end bolt in. (But then I'm overly cautious of my precious server.)

Great way to tidy things up.
I had my switch and UPS on a shelf in my garage, it looked awful and my wife hated it. Since moving them into the rack, they take up much less space and look much better.

Very poor packaging. Better options available
This product is functional but the build quality is poor compared to the Kenuco alternative.Packaging had no protection, bolts and nuts were loose and sides and back panel were metal on metal sliding in box. Scratches and lost nuts.
