AQUEENLY 230 Pieces Octagon Sealing Wax Beads, 2Pcs Tea Candles and Melting Spoon for Wax Seal Stamp (23 Colors)

My set came with 26 colors. About half are metallic and the other are normal solid colors. The colors are random but overall a nice variety. The wax melts well, but a bit too well. It starts smoking before the wax bits completely melt. The spoon could be better. It's difficult to get the excess wax off it after pouring. In the pics, I did a sample of a solid color and a metallic. For the orange, I did 4 bits and 2 for the blue. I found you only need 2 bits for a stamp. Overall, I think the price should be even lower for this subpar wax set.

This wax is fine. I don’t really have much to compare it to be completely honest. The other sealing wax I have is a bar from Italy and it broke into a 100 pieces on the way home. Anyways, the wax is soft, it starts to feel tacky and melty from just touching it with my fingers. It melts fine and doesn’t leave a smell. I found it easier to use a lighter to melt it than the tea light candles provided. The tea lights work fine just took a lot longer to melt. Some negative are that it didn’t actually have the amount of each color it said. I started fishing for hot pink and there were only 3. Also some of the colors seems to work better than others. The purple wax wouldn’t lift properly from my seal and ended up tearing the envelope. Overall, good for the price but I’m not sure if I’d buy again.

Wish it had a stand to hold it while the wax melts but I figured something out, it’s easy to use and I love how vibrant the colors are. A really good deal for the price.

This was a decent assortment. I have purchased sealing wax hearts elsewhere and I was surprised that these were much smaller, maybe half the size or a little less. Maybe that is good because it is easier to measure and use the right amount. I used 5 with a stamp that is about 1 inch in diameter, and I think maye 4 would be better. It was a lot of extra wax around the seal. There only seem to be about 8 of each color though, so don't get too attached to any one color.

I’m pleased with this wax assortment! I originally had used a wicked candle to make my seals, but the control of where it dropped on the envelope was not precise. This solves the problem- the spoon ensures it goes exactly where you want. The melt occurs pretty quickly. I enjoy mixing colors - if you don’t stir them after melting you get a super cool effect. Or stir after melting before pouring to custom creat other colors.

This is the first brand I like and they work well for me so far. I've used them for a letter, a package and some decorative seals in a journal and on top of another and so far all have worded well. I need three for my stamp and the spoon hold that number well enough. As long as you don't over heat the wax it doesn't bubble or go funny(I don't know how else to explain it). I've ordered this twice and between the two I got a good selection of each color. The only reason I would not gift this is the packaging. Otherwise I'll most likely keep ordering for myself.

After reading other reviews... I decided to try these anyway. I only got 210 beads while the offer was for 230. The beads are very tiny and take at least 2 to make a decent wax mound to use to stamp. The wax hardens rather quickly so be prepared in advance of exactly what you intend to do because they give no leway of hardening time. Also seems to take a longer time to melt than the other brands I have tried and doesn't pour out of the spoon as smoothly. I won't buy this product again.

I wish this was better quality. I guess I expected it to come in some sort of case, not a baggie. The spoon had white wax chips on it, I scraped those off. The tealight candles don’t look like very good quality. I wish I would have spent the extra money and gotten one with the pieces organized by color, I think the quality would have been better too. Disappointed, but hoping my daughter likes it, since it’s a gift.

A great mix of colours and the wax melts well. Would buy again.
