It’s really handy and I wouldn’t be without it now but there are a few things that disappoint me with it. Firstly you have to be looking directly at the screen to be able to see it, it’s blank if looking at it from an angle this is really annoying. Secondly it won’t stay in all the time if running off battery power, you need to plug it in which meant I couldn’t put it where I wanted it. Outdoor gauge seemed really accurate but I’m not so sure about the indoor on the clock itself it hasn’t moved much possibly due to where I’ve had to situate it. The weather prediction is not very accurate. It does look great and the colour options is a nice bonus but I think it’s more suited to a bedside clock rather than a home weather station. The function to make it light when running off battery power is really handy for beside the bed but it is t what I intended to use it for. Took me a white to set it up it wouldn’t work where I had it I guess due to thick walls but connected when I took it to a window and has been fine since.

Fantastic display weather station. Different colours can be selected for the display. I have this on a bedside table so have it on the red display and adjusted the brightness down to the lowest setting which is still easily viewable but also doesn't light up the room and keep me awake!The outdoor sensor has a good range and temperature seems accurate. The weather forecast is reasonably accurate but I only wanted it for outside temperature so not too much of a problem and everything automatically set itself up when switched on as the time updates itself quickly.I have taped over the humidity reading and ice warning symbol as I am only interested in Time and indoor/outdoor temperature so that makes it easier to read 🙂 A great bit of kit 🙂

Gift for a family member who loves it.

I bought one of these brand of weather station as a gift several years ago, the recipient has made great use of it, and it's accuracy and reliability prompted me to choose the same brand when purchasing. I opted for one of these to replace my alarm clock which broke. Lovely big clear and well defined screen to which you can select the backlight colour or have a rotation of colours. Personally I stick to the orange colour and low back light setting. The atomic clock signal works perfectly well setting the time, but does take a while to initialize to start with. Setting the alarm is easy enough, just follow the steps in the instructions, I really didn't understand the comments saying it was difficult. It isn't. The snooze is great, there is no physical button you just place your hand on to the top of the unit and it senses you're being a lazy so and so and goes in to snooze.

Weather station was purchased to provide outdoors info as well as weather prediction so, not really up to the job. Have ordered a replacement remote sensor. Hope it works OK.

Arrived promptly and set-up was a piece of cake. Connection with the sensor was immediate. It was intended to replace an old weather station (different make – black figures on silver background, easy to read from 15 feet) in the conservatory, which is our main living area in the day. However, even though it was plugged into power, no matter how low I placed it, my wife could only see a black screen when she was sat just a few feet away. We swapped seats and she was right. The brightest setting is not at all bright and didn't help in the slightest. So I've had to place it in the lounge, which is fairly dark and there it is easy to read. There, it will act principally as a clock, although it's interesting to see the temperature and humidity outside whilst watching the television, perhaps! I should send it back as unsuitable but that's too much hassle in the current lockdown. In short, if you have a well-lit room, I would go for something else.

This clock is a true UK MSF clock unlike many sold that are in fact EU clocks based on the German time signa which is 1 hour ahead (European central time) of the UK. The display is great with such large digits. The reason I've marked it down is because the display is very angular i.e. you have to view it from directly on the level or looking from a downward angle, when I placed it on a shelf about a foot above my eye line the display cannot be read, this appears to be because it is an LED display not an LCD display, however, this does have the advantage that it is visible in the dark. Placed on a desktop or table theres no problem.
