Almost perfect
I have a bag I love to use as my personal item on flights, but its trolley pass-through pocket is too small to fit my carry-on's handle, so I have now used several versions of these straps. This is the best one so far, but it's still not perfect. I really like how thick, durable and easy-to adjust the straps are. I hate the logo. While I like that you can buckle the strap and velcro it for additional security, it's not really necessary if your straps are properly adjusted. The real flaw for this strap in carrying another bag on top of your rolling bag is that there is no way to attach it to your larger bag. It goes over the handle, fits around your bag and goes over the handle a second time. I wish there was a way to clip it to the handle of your bag or something so that when you separate the bags, the strap is fully connected to your larger carry-on and you don't need to carry the strap separately, or hope it doesn't otherwise fall off. Other straps I've tried had some way of securing the strap to the bag even when not in use. I have not used this as a typical luggage strap and can't speak to its ability to keep a bag closed since I typically don't check my bags, but it's nice that it's an option with this.

Airport Travel made easy
Strap holds small carry on or personal item securely to the handle of a suitcase. Makes transporting luggage easy.

Not for tall bags
It is long enough to go around the bag but if the item is tall, it won’t stay on the handle.

Worked well Holding a Ski Boot Bag on top of my Suitcase
Took my ski boot bag to Europe with the ultimate destination of Italy for skiing. Made several stops in other cities along the way and this High Elastic Belt Bag with Buckle was indispensable in freeing my hands and shoulders from carrying this awkward ski boot bag. I adjusted the strap before I left and never needed to adjust it again. I laid one end of the strap through my suitcase handle and let the other end lay down the face of the suitcase. Laid the boot bag on its side (the 2nd bag can't be taller than the handles), pulled the strap over the handle and connected the buckle. There is a Velcro piece on each side of the buckle that is then connected for an extra secure hold. Everything stayed very secure as I traveled between airports and train stations.

Poor functionaity
I tried this product with my two carry on bags today, and once I got it in position, I couldn't open the clasp. My husband even had a hard time doing it and his hands are much stronger than mine. The strap is for use in situations where you have to clasp or unclasp it quickly in airplanes, and we both struggled to get it open and closed. Also, it didn't fit around my empty personal carry on. If it had my stuff in it, it wouldn't have fit.I do not recommend this item, and would return it if I was within the deadline.

Might work well for some, but it was a mistake for me.
Mainly I just wish I wouldn’t have bought this “early” because it was unsatisfactory and passed the return date before even used, though I realized actually using it on a trip and then returning it might not be acceptable. It took taking a trip to realize it wasn’t going to work. It was entirely too difficult for one person (me) to get on my bag (26” tall but wider than average). And try as I might, I could not get it to go on flat either, one of the belts was always twisted no matter what configuration I tried, which meant then it was subject to a lot more wear and tear. The difficulty in getting it on was because there was no way to do so without over-stretching it and sliding it on, and it needed to be the tightness that I selected in order to stay on. I also went on the direction that the locking tabs of the zipper fastened into the luggage, meaning the strongest point of the whole circumference, but it wasn’t long enough to be able to go the other direction, and by the time to put it on it’s taking much longer and I needed to get out the door for my shuttle ride. I did try getting it on as a practice, but you just don’t know it’s going to be so difficult it was ridiculous when it came down to the wire. It also would not stretch the “X” wide enough, and the handle on that side made it so it didn’t lie flat, leaving exposure for catching on the baggage equipment. It was also readily apparent, both going and coming back, that the person who inspected the bag had even a harder time than I did - wasn’t put back on even as well as I had been able to accomplish! Given how ready they are to cut your lock if it gives them any trouble at all, wouldn’t be long and they’d just be throwing it inside my bag, if even bothering to do that.
