I've used Gaia Herbs for well over thirty years. Farm is in NC mountains a few hours away from where we live. The gel capsules are liquid filled not powder. Easy to swallow and fresh.

When I first took these, I wasn't sure if they were really working. But I kept taking them. Once I ran out, I noticed how dry my eyes were without them. I tried the retain brand because those are the eye drops I use, but they don't compare.

As surprising as it sounds, I have found That Gaia Vision Enhancement keeps the psoriasis on the back of my scalp from severely flaring up. It is the ingredient astaxanthin. Does it cure it, no, but it keeps it reasonably in check. I have run out of Vision Enhancement enough times to know that taking it helps. Astaxanthin can be found in other formulations (as well as on its own, I believe). I have tried other formulas and they don't work as well for me. I also find that when I don't take Vision Enhancement my mid and distance vision become less clear. When I take it, my mid and distance vision is noticeably clearer.SS J-Carrell

My eyes feel much better. Much less stressed. Still need eye drops twice a day. I am not bothered by my eyes during the day now. I'm continuing to use the herbs. Worth trying. Took about three weeks to notice the difference.
