After reading the "What Greens Need" chapter I now understand much more clearly when to plant then how to grow myself a nice salad or six.I have never been disappointed in a Storey Country Wisdom Bulletin and most are part of one of Amazon's 4-for-3 promotion. Nancy does a fine job helping to decide which ones to have in the garden. She has a chart that shows how many vitamins you get from each kind, how to grow greens in amoungst other crops, all about each kind (along with line drawings), caring for them in an unexpected freeze, and sources of seeds.

USEFUL GOOD I HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO SAY. SO WHY DOES IT NOT ALLOW ME TO SAVE AFTER THIS THANK YOU.

This book and the series in general make great quick references on specific gardening topics. . They are well written and simply stated so your not reading though lots of extra material to get the information you really want..
