Jonny Lambert's Animal ABC (Jonny Lambert Illustrated)

This book was in excellent condition. The art work is ingenious and beautiful. It contains so much to talk about with a small child.

Beautiful pictures, some of the animals are not well known and could be difficult for a young child to remember. Not clear as to why there are two ISBN for the book, the illustration on the page with letter B is slightly different in one of them, not sure why as they are mostly the same that one is significantly more cost to it. Amazon is not clear about this, yet you’re given the option of choosing one over the other.

My grandson who is 11 months absolutely loves this book ( and the Animal 1 2 3 one) It’s a great size and the drawings and just lovely. The flaps are great for improving dexterity and the giraffe and whale pictures are just wonderful. Thoroughly recommended .

The fold out pages are thoughtfully done, e.g. the giraffe page opens upwards, and the elephant page opens out to reveal a whole herd. A useful book to encourage a little animal lover to learn their ABCs.

Beautiful illustrations and good quality print, there are unexpected fold outs which can be quite a visual treat for babies.

I confess I bought this book because I liked the drawings myself. But young children will love all of the animals. Plus the giraffe and the blue whale have an extra page fold out so the drawings are huge. Great ABC book.
