I love old cookbooks, and this one is fun and some of the recipies bring back memories, some I want to try. Like the little trivia comments common with these books, too.

Great recipes. Much more variety and styles than i expected. Highly recommend.

Crap

My theory has always been "Get it to the stove, burn it, and I'll eat it!". I started reading this one day as it was laying there. I've always enjoyed nostalgia books and didn't realize this was a cookbook. Well a few hours and quite a few smiles and chuckles later I got to the end of the book. Very fun and interesting. (Ok I will admit I tried a few of the recipes in the book that sounded pretty good. Gets a chuckle around here when I try to cook with a recipe.). All of the rib recipes and the Coyote Canyon Skewered Beef are now favorites around here. Biggest problem with the book is I keep wandering off and getting lost in the other articles and ads. Good times await all who purchase this cookbook.

Meh, mediocre recipes and seemed a little fake, like someone was trying for nostaligia but didn't quite have it.
