I will start this review by saying I was NOT paid to do this review nor was I given this product to review. I bought it because I am in need of a biotin supplement do to my hair thinning after weight loss surgery.Biotin works but I have difficulty swallowing pills. I needed a chewable or something that dissolves but doesn't make be gag with its flavor. The Natrol Biotin 5000 mcg Fast Dissolve Tablets meet all the criteria and then some.#1 --- They are a great price. Compared to other brand of similar quality and criteria these are very affordable.#2 -- They deliver what they promise. The dissolve quickly. Not only that, they barely have any taste at all so they could be a chewable also (and I've done that with no problems). They are not chalky and have a nearly non-existent taste. For me, that's a plus.#3 -- I don't know why, perhaps the quality of biotin varies, but these work better than other biotin supplements. I noticed in the few weeks I've been using them that not only has my hair stopped thinning my hair is getting fuller in that area. My hair in general has become a bit thicker and split ends and dryness seem to be a thing of the past. My hair is very shiny and feels good to the touch. I use very little mousse, gel or spray in my hair. Even when I just towel dry it and brush it my hair looks pretty good.#4 -- My skin and nails have improved too. The skin on my hands has been getting that old, dry look to it. Since I started using the Natrol biotin (and I didn't get this result with other biotin supplements) my hands have started looking less wrinkly. My nails are going in nicely and rarely break anymore.I highly recommend this product. Consult your health care professional before using any supplement. This was approved by my nutritionist after I expressed concern that my hair was getting very dry and seemed to be thinning after surgery.

I like the option of 5,000mcg so I can take 1 or 2 daily. They taste like a Sweet Tart, only not as tart. Easy to let dissolve or lightly bite & dissolve. I have trouble swallowing so these are easy to take. No after -taste, no grit. I don't know if they're scientifically working, but I feel like they are. My nails are incredibly tough and rarely chip or break unless I hit one really hard on a hard surface, so I think Biotin works for me. I've noticed definite hardening over the last 2 years. Not sure about hair...mine goes through cycles where a lot will fall out for a couple of months, the slows down and starts slowly filling in over time. I'm pretty sure the Biotin is helping to not lose as much as I would otherwise. Perhaps it's due to my medical issues and/or medications. Anyway, I'll continue to take it daily, and will continue to buy this brand in dissolvable form, either in 5,000 or 10,000mcg. I've recently tried a different brand and they were regular flat round tabs that got stuck when swallowing, so I put these back on Subscribe & Save and tossed the other ones in the garbage immediately (safely...I put liquid dishwashing soap in the bottle). What do you have to lose? You can gain stronger nails at a minimum. Good price point, always fast delivery.

This biotin taken with vitamin E has actually actually activated baby hairs..now a few inches. I was told about these from a nurse. They taste wonderful so no hard pill to swallow. No tummy upset. Try these if you need a great biotin suppliment.

I like the taste & smell of these. I also love that they are chewable & they aren't huge. I feel like they are effective bcuz my hair changes when I run out. Google value for size.

I love these vitamins because they taste great. They dissolve in your mouth, so I feel like I am getting more of the supplement as opposed to pills that you swallow and they dissolve later (hopefully?) LOL They are also a great value.

Good. Taste good. Chewable's no after taste.

Hair: In December, I started using the OGX Ever Straight - Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner every night, and about after a few months of use, noticed that my hair was thinning out and falling out more easily. I was in dire need of something to help restore my hair. I started taking this on a daily basis, back in April, and my hair feels thicker has grown about an inch and half longer since then.Nails: After only 2 weeks of taking this biotin, my nail strength improved significantly. My nails used to be so weak and brittle to the point where if I accidentally bashed it against a hard surface, it would break off cleanly. I couldn't even grow my nails out with having them get ripped off when they got caught on something. After 2 weeks, my nails were "tough as nails"! They grew so long, so quickly, and I was finally able to shape them! Filing my nails took forever because they were so strong. Cutting them with nail clippers felt like I was cutting through a piece of cardboard with plastic safety scissors.Skin: My complexion has also improved since I started taking this. I had mostly clear skin before, but would still get random little pimples on my forehead. Now, I don't have those little bumps and my skin looks flawless. However, it could be that I started drinking a lot more water since I've started taking the biotin.Also, I wanted to see how my body would react if I stopped taking the biotin, so I stopped taking it for two weeks. Surely enough, my nails weakened, and my hair became more brittle. If you want the results of biotin to stay, then you need to commit and continue to take it every day!
