MageClamp Standing Seam Metal Roof Clamp with L Bracket Foot for Solar Panel Module Mounting Racking Pack of 10

Fitted my standing seam metal roof tightly, to mount rails and then solar PV modules. Seems like they grabbed the seam solidly, so I'm happy.

With a slight delta shape that is wider at the bottom than top of the standing seam, these parallel face clamps drive themselves up off the roof. A sharper point on the set screw might fix that.

I bought them just to find it only works if your seam is completely even from top to bottom, my seams are wider at the bottom then the top, so when you turn the screws on the clam it glides right off the seam. I had to cut the side opersite the screws in an angle to make it work.

Update 12/14I bought 60 more of these, by far the best deal around, especially given the super solid quality!These are intended for thick brackets (1/4: etc.), let them know if you need to secure thinner clips and they will include shorter top screws. These were a horrible fit for my standard standing seam roof. I had to grind down about 1/8” off the inner channel and another 1/8” off the bottom foot that didn’t have the lip. Once they were on they worked fine but they needed some significant rework

i only took a few minutes to fix brackets and plates for stops.

Great fit and match, good quality, very easy use.

Clamps do not fit my roof. trying to return and company has not replied in a month. Thank you for being professional.
