Expensive and frustrating to Use
Go for the RCBS Bullet Puller not this. This is a good idea just poorly engineered. Hornady has bought some great designs like the head space gauge and bullet seating gauges. This item is weirdly hard to handle with a flopping leaver that is always in the way. Too difficult to adjust and doesn't seem to hold the adjustment once you do get the depth set with the double locking ring and O-ring overly complicated design. The collets are very expensive and made very cheaply, they are very brittle and break easily. This works well on small caliber bullets but anything 6.5 and up are hit or miss, frequently loosing the grip on the bullet unless using crush strength on the bullet (and yes, using it with the advertised proper collet size selection). The RCBS has a better collet design, wider range of effective calibers that are more forgiving on "between sizes".

Works Great but read the instructions. All the collet sizes are at the bottom.
This was easy to put together and screw into my old Lee single stage press. It’s easy to use too as long as you carefully follow the instructions, especially these two things. First, don’t let any part of the case get inside the collet or it could get stuck and when you get it out, doubtful you’ll be able to used again, as I found out. Also, too much pressure all leave marks so bad on the bullet it will be unusable. You can find the correct collet below. For example 10mm and 40S&E are both have a diameter of .400” so I used 0.410 / 0.416 #11 / 392164 and it worked perfectly.HORNADY CAM LOCK™ BULLET PULLER COLLETSBULLET DIA. Bullet always stuck in collet unusable.
The other night after making a mistake I used my trusted kinetic bullet puller/floor hammer to unseat a few badly made rounds. Works great, a little slow and a little messy. So I purchased the Hornady Cam Lock Bullet Puller / 9mm collet and thought I would use in my Rock Chucker single stage press. It's a little difficult to set up on the Rock Chucker because you can not see visually how to set.I put an empty 9mm case in in the Rock Chucker and raised the cam. I then with 9mm collect in place & the upper part screwed in a good half way. I screwed in the main die until it touched the case, I then back off half a turn and locked in place. I then put a test case (no powder) and bullet seated and crimped from the Dillon 650 into the Rock Chucker and raised the cam. I then screwed in the inner die with the handle vertical which pushes the collect over the bullet.I lowered the inner until I felt a little pressure when trying to lower the handle. Then I would lower the press cam and if the bullet was still in the case raise handle and lower the inner die a quarter turn. I would rinse and repeat until the bullet came out of the case.No case damage so I know I'm not on the case. However the bullets always get stuck in the collet.ONLY way to get them out is to unscrew the inner and take out the inner and push out from the top.No matter what I adjustments I make either the bullet does not come free of the case or the bullet sits in the collet. Please comment if you have any ideas.

works way better than I thought
I loaded 50ea .338 Lapua Mags using the wrong COL. Since they were for match load accuracy development, I needed them perfect. I really didn't think this puller would leave the bullet unscathed and I'd be throwing away $40 of bullets. I couldn't imagine that the pressure exerted by the collet to grip the bullet for the pull wouldn't disfigure it. I was wrong, I couldn't tell where it had gripped of course you could see some scrapes from the neck brass tension but that's all.....I followed the setup direction on the Ultimate Reloader website prior to receiving the device. I easily pulled and reseated the same bullets in the same brass within an hour without any powder spillage as a bonus, the neck tension was such that I didn't have to resize the neck.Great Product!

Poor Manufacturing
The handle is what dropped the stars. The cam portion which presses on the top of the collet is poor. A punch stamped part that is not the same on both contact faces and carries the flashing of the stamping process. Result: dissimilar gripping of the bullet depending which direction the handle is swung. The flashing is a thin burr-like ridge subject to causing rapid and uneven wear. Flashing cleaned up with diamond file. Still have to be careful which direction the handle is swung.

Works as advertised, but...
It works, but.... Unlike with reloading dies, the ram of your reloader can't be full stroked up to end of travel. The correct size shell holder is put on the ram of your reloader. The correct collet is put into the cam lock bullet puller and the puller is screwed into the die holder at the top of the reloader. I screw it in until it just protrudes out of the threads. The cartridge that you want to pull the bullet from is put in the shell holder. Then, slowly raise the ram until you can feel the collet just touch the case neck. Next, lower the ram a fraction of an inch and lock the cam onto the bullet. Finally, lower the ram to pull the bullet. It works, but you have to pay attention to get the bullet just right in the collet. Too far in and you will collapse the case neck down. Not far enough and the bullet will slip. Good luck!

Very Happy
I almost did not order this product, since some of the reviews were not very encouraging, but I am sure glad I did. This is one slick product. Granted, I have only used it for .223 so far. I do not know what some of the people who wrote bad reviews are talking about. The quality is top notch, and as long as you adjust, and use it correctly, it works perfectly, with very little effort. I would definitely recommend this product to others.
