Feels like a truck now
I just installed these on a 2007.5 Sierra and immediately put them to work loading up a small amount of 200-ish pounds of scrap metal. Before loading it up, right off the bat I noticed the rake is back. I had gotten rid of the factory lift blocks a few years back and this gave it about an inch rake from its leveled stance. Loading it up hardly effected the rear height. After jumping into the driver seat, I noticed the truck hardly moved at all like it used to with the worn factory “luxury” shocks when I jumped in the seat. Next thing I noticed is it seems to handle a whole lot better and the forward acceleration is improved greatly. When loaded up, it’s super smooth down the highway. Very positive feel to it with a load. It can be bumpy once the load is off, but I love it. Makes it feel like a truck should feel. If I wanted luxury, I would’ve bought an Escalade. I’m not bothered by the ride at all with no load, my 2002 Camaro is way worse on ride harshness. This still feels fine. It’s a bit close to my custom dual exhaust and do believe it rubbed occasionally on the test run but that’s not something everyone has to worry about. I’ll update this if I have any issues.

Nice!
They were not the easiest to install BUT with some ingenuity, I was able to get them on. The shock along with the spring are pretty stiff so they were hard to compress enough to get the bottom bolt in. All in all though, they are WELL worth the price and installation time. They look good and raised my truck, about 1.5 to 2 inches..

Really great value for Chevy truck guys!
Quality part. Installs just like a regular shock. It is a REAL coilover that uses factory mounts. Dampens very well in my 2006 GMC Sierra Ex. Cab 2wd. These coilovers are fairly large in diameter. If you have 2.5in dual tail pipes like I do, it is a VERY close fit depending on how your pipes are bent. Looks custom. I run BFGoodrich All Terrain ko2's in 270/70/r17 on stock 17in wheels. I run a Rough Country leveling kit, shocks, and springs up front. I run these coilovers on the rear. The ride is FANTASTIC. SO STABLE in the rain, dirt, and on the terrible streets where I live. Like its on rails. Super stable. Me and my family feel safe in all weather conditions. Great upgrade for any GM truck.

Easy on, and works great
No problems installing. Ride was much smoother than I expected, but very firm for hauling.

I have these on my 04 GMC Sierra and they are excellent as far as what they do
Ok, I see some uneducated reviews.AC DELCO Advantage: products deemed acceptable by ACDelco as replacement, aftermarket product.AC DELCO PROFESSIONAL: aftermarket parts that meet OEM specifications as a replacementAC DELCO OEM: ummm guessAC DELCO SPECIALTY: AFTERMARKET PRODUCTS THAT EXCEED OEM SPECS IN QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE AND RECOGNIZED BY AC DELCO AS SUCH..Having educated the masses, I have these on my 04 GMC Sierra and they are excellent as far as what they do. Above performance of the item they look very cool. Paint on springs is still nice and red, none of the surfaces are peeling, the chrome of the piston is still like new after 6 months of rough use and each time they get pressure washed they look new. And whoever said something about it being made in Mexico look under the hood sometime. Just about everything will be Canada or Mexico and you can thank our government for that with the darn epa regulations, healthcare, minimum wages and other bs democrats force on us that make it impossible to make anything in the usa. See why our go to let Mexico go bad? Because companies were running away to there. Now it's less savory to go. They have us enslaved in our own land. But great Shocks for the sheep-ole of America.

Fits 01 Silverado perfect, but I don't see anything that states it's an AC Delco spring/shock
I purchased this part new directly from the AC Delco store in Amazon, but I do not see anything on the spring/shock that states it's an AC Delco part. Seems to work fine and fit is good. The Amazon part finder/helper states it does not fit an 01 Silverado. In the verbiage below, though, in the details of the product, it does mentions what trucks this part fits.

Unprofessional third-party company
If I could rate this item and the third party's actions, it would be a -5.. make sure you read everything before buying. If the rear shocks don't fit or isn't right or the shock quality isn't safe , you CAN'T return them. The third party won't work with you and you are completely out of all your money. TRQ rear shocks are 10 times better on the stiffness and value of money with free shipping and almost next day delivery!!

Good shocks
They are just that shocks with a what looks like a coil spring that you can put on your vehicle. It’s not a cool over it’s really just a shock. No ride difference just a general shock.
