A quality book written by a well-qualified mindfulness instructor with a long track record of successfully teaching mindfulness to others. (Note: Have taken several of Shamash’s classes, myself.) I received this as a complimentary copy, however, I bought a hardcover & a kindle copy, myself. The authors that I have great respect for, I often buy several copies of their books to keep in my library, on my kindle or give to friends.When I read book reviews, I like to read highlighted passages that spoke to the reviewer. Not an easy read.
It’s not an easy read and I have not been very motivated to delve into it. What I read was consistent with all that I read before purchasing.

GREAT
Lovely book that gives an 8-week mindfulness programme to follow in order to alleviate stress. Easy to follow and I am enjoying working my way through the guidance and exercises. I am pleased with my purchase and would buy again.

This is a fantastic book, simply written and easy to understand. I would highly recommend anyone who is struggling with stress to get this book and do the meditations. The meditations are lovely and Shamash has a wonderful voice - I found them hugely beneficial.

Recommended Mindfulness intro - FREE online materials
I am a clinician working through this book as a lay person and find it to be really easy to follow and the free online materials are superb. I am already recommending to clients and colleagues.
