Great alternative to plastic straws
I bought these reusable straws in anticipation of the rumored plastic straw ban in my county. I hand-washed one of the silicon straws using the provided brush. It had that initial new plastic taste/smell, but didn’t affect the taste of the coffee once it reached my mouth. I then washed all the straws in the dishwasher and haven’t had a problem with any taste or smell since. The silicone straws are wider than the metal ones, but I’m not sure if they would be wide enough for bubble tea. The metal straws were great too. I try not to let the metal touch my teeth out of fear of it causing a weird metal-on-teeth sensation. Doesn’t have a metal taste. The silicon straw was a tight fit in a standard Dunkin’ Donuts plastic lid, but it worked fine once I maneuvered it all the way down. If you go to Starbucks, ask for the “strawless lid,” which is listed as a “sip lid” on the sticker attached to my cup.

Wouldn't Buy Again
I thought this would be a great set, but it's not. The cleaning brushes are cheap wire and they aren't long enough or strong enough to make the bend in the stainless steel straws (I did buy a better straw cleaning brush at the store that solved that problem). The stainless steel straws are very narrow, but I like them, except for the cleaning problem of the bend . The silicone straws have taken on the odor of the smoothies I make, even though I clean them with soap, hot water and a brush right after use, it makes me think they aren't clean if they don't smell clean, so I will probably toss them and the bent stainless steel keeping only the straight stainless straws.

A great variety pack, but wish I had gotten skinnier silicone straws
I've been researching my reusable straw purchase for a long time so I was happy to find this variety pack so I could have both silicone and stainless steel straws. The bumpers are an added bonus to alleviate my fears of stabbing myself or my kids with a metal pole in a freak accident. The stainless steel straws work great but I'm finding the silicone ones to be too large in diameter to fit the containers I'm used to drinking out of (see photo trying to shove it into my tumbler). Indeed they're probably great for smoothies but you'd need a cup with a pretty large mouth spout or no lid at all to fit the 0.45" diameter silicone straws, increasing the chance of spillage, especially with kids. So, the stainless steel half of the pack are practical and useful (straight and bent versions to suit your preferences), while I have yet to find a purpose for the silicone ones. The cleaning brushes are just fine; you just need to clean from both ends to get every inch of the straw.

My kids love these!
We've had stainless steel straws in our house for a while but sometimes they get clogged while my kids drink their smoothies and it then turns into a bigger mess so I love that the silicone straws can be squished to get the clog out and with no mess! I also love the silicone toppers that go on top of the stainless steel straws. I don't know about anyone else but I have a germaphobe in my house so it's nice to let my 2 kiddos pick out their own color of straw and/or topper and then there is no melt down if his sister accidently drinks from his mason jar ;) My only complaint is that the cleaner that it comes with isn't long enough to fully clean the straws one way and you have to either wash the straw both ways and make sure whatever you knocked loose from the straw comes out or luckily I do have a cleaner that does go all the way through these straws. Regardless, I would still buy them again!

Good product at a good price
I’m only using the stainless steel angled straws at this time. They work just as well as the plastic. With three of them I don’t need to wash one every day. They don’t mention it in the product description but there are silicon tips to cover the tips so hot or cold liquids don’t hit your lips. A great feature for hot liquids. I don’t used them for my iced lattes. I purchased this product as it contained both steel and silicone straws for the same price as steel

Very nice silicone straws
I bought these to replace my constantly purchasing disposable straws and to be a bit recycling conscience. They are what I was looking for and I do like the bend in the straw. The only issue I have is that it is harder to stir the ice with them as they are more flexible, however that’s not a big issue. Very nice and I would buy again if I need more. I have not use the metal ones but I do like the silicone tips that is provided with this purchase.

lots of straws
You receive many straws so I'm able to find the size that fits my cup. There are two cleaners. so that is nice. You have to turn the straw around to clean both ends, the cleaners isnt long enough to go all the way through. Thre is a little rubber cap to slice on the end of the stainless steel straw-I love that! It also marks which straw is which. Seemed like the best deal for the money. Well made.

Big straws!
These are good straws. There are several silicone ones, 2 bent stainless, 2 straight, stainless, and 4 silicone ends for the stainless. They come with 2 cleaning brushes and a storage sack. They are all quite long. Too long for a regular sized glass (pint glass size or so). Think large drink at your favorite fast food place large. I solved this by cutting some of the silicone ones down. The rest are used in my large insulated tumblers.Additionally, the silicone ones are "large bore" like bubble tea straws. Just FYI.
