If you are a fire truck buff like I am, you will certainly enjoy this book by Kent Parish. Like all of his other books, this volume has perfectly poised photos of all modern day fire apparatus. This book chronicles just about every make and manufacturer, with photos of every type of apparatus that serves fire departments across the USA.You can't go wrong with the purchase of this book. It will certainly be a fine addition to anyone interested in fire apparatus young or older.

Purchased for 3 year old fire truck "groupie" instead of a kiddie book. He goes page to page carefully examing the detail of each of the100's of photos. I Wish more where in color

Great book about recent fire equipment manufacturers and their products. Does a good job of tracing manufacturers history over the past 30 years.

This book was printed in 2014 and over half the photos are black and white....very disappointing! I bought this book so my son (2 yr old) could look at cool fire truck photos, but the black and white ones are just not cutting it

Folks, the entire book is in black and white. I mean come on, it's a book of fire trucks and half the appeal of this type of book is seeing the colors on the rigs. If you can't afford to publish a colorized book then you probably shouldn't be selling it. At least not for $28. Plus no where is this mentioned in the description. I gave two stars because the image composition is very quality and every image was clearly taken by the same photographer which is very impressive considering the volume and variety of vehicles pictured. All the more reason for us to see these great pictures in color! It's really quite sad but I hope this book can be republished at some point in color.
