The media could not be loaded. This has been the best purple shampoo that I've used. It doesn't make my hair crispy, and takes away the orange nicely. Here's a photo of a 613 wig and one I rinsed with the purple shampoo. If you put a lot of the shampoo on the hair it will go silver, but make sure you make it even coverage and rinse well or you can end up with some strands toned more than the other pieces. Plus, smell is nice and not chemically like some other popular one. It's thick and not runny, so helpful to mix it up in your hands before application.

Blonde hair requires the use of purple shampoo a couple times per week to avoid looking brassy & Nexus Blonde Assure protects & keeps my blonde hair looking healthy and free of any unwanted brassy or orange tones. I'm picky about my hair products and I refuse to buy anything that isn't sulfate free and Nexus offers a quality product and it's at a very competitive price. The bottle isn't very big but I don't use it daily so I think that it will last enough to justify the $20 price tag. The scent is great and I this shampoo definitely leaves my hair looking very shiny and clean. Nexxus just out performs others. Some purple shampoos have left my hair very dry & brittle but this one leaves my hair feeling very soft. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Okay, so I lighten my hair but after awhile it can start to turn dull or brassy. Since purple is the opposite of yellow on the color wheel it can have a neutralizing effect and tone down some of the brassiness. I like the fact this shampoo is sulfate-free too so it doesn't contribute to more hair fading. It is also protein-infused as coloring or bleaching hair can have an affect on keratin in hair. It is a dark purple so be careful of use around light-colored or white washclothes or towels. The purple color will rinse out of your hair, though. This is more of a supplemental shampoo to be used occasionally with a regular shampoo--like maybe once or twice a week at the most. I like that it kind of neutralized my graying roots too and blended them in more with my blonde hair. This shampoo can be use on silvery graying hair too as it helps to take out some of the yellowish tinge in gray hair. It is kind of pricey but using it only once a week makes it last longer. Oh, I was surprised to find this shampoo at Target too.

The item did not have a seal and it was opened. Luckily it didn't come out. That is a packaging issue though

Love it, makes my hair soft clean and smells so good. No brassy blonde and the quality is luxurious.
