I like the wide waist band. The material is an open weave which makes it feel good on you. The pouch is also the stretch material which should hold any size of junk. For me, it's a great fit and comfortable.

Jocks are very personal purchases and it takes some time to find one that fits just right. The SafeTGard is the one that works for me. I found that more expensive, better overall quality jocks than the SafeTGard didnt hold me right. Oddly a medium in other jocks I tried has smaller pouches - and I'm not actually big. With the SafeTGard, the small fit great, the pouch holds nicely and the waistband is low and tight the way I like. The fabric quality isn't tops, but at this price I can afford to replace regularly. A 'classic' jock strap look too.

My husband wears these daily due to several hernia surgeries and to fend off another! They are comfortable, hold up well in laundering (I air dry them) and are a good value. Supporters are very difficult to find in stores unless you want sports types, so am pleased to be able to purchase them through Amazon.

It's a great-looking jock, but the pouch has too much material. Not too much in that it gives you no support or just hangs there, but in that the pouch tucks way under you, which can be uncomfortable despite the relative softness of the material. It does, indeed, stretch too easily, and after just a few wears, I don't feel any support from it. I'm a 34 waist and will try a medium next time.

Maybe SafeTGard earned its reputation when their products were made in USA but the 2 I received were disappointing. The primary reason is the way the leg straps are attached to the pouch - the are "sewn straight" which makes the leg strap twist and not stay flat. The jock is uncomfortable to wear.Sizing is next. I wear a medium according to the size chart, but a medium was too small, resulting in damage to the bar tacks where the leg straps are attached to the waist band. A large was better but the looser fit made the leg strap issue worse.Never again.

I did go one size up from my size and it fits perfect. For the price you can't go wrong. I do suggest you wash it first, it will soften it a bit. Having a choir of colors is great, I got all four colors they have all been worn and wash multiple times and no problems with them. A great buy for guys who like to wear them.
