After a few broken ceramic knitting bowls, we ordered this wooden one for my daughter. It was such a hit and so unlikely to break that we ordered another as a gift for a second knitter in the family.

Wish there was something in the bottom to keep bowl from moving

I bought it for my daughter and she really liked it. It seems to be very useful for yarn management and very pretty to boot. Must be careful as the little hook can break. My first bowl came with it broken. Thankfully everything got straightened out pretty quick.

Good size and finish…a heavier bottom would be helpful

Holds the yarn so I can knit without fear of the ball rolling around. Smooth opening for yarn, doesn't snag. I put rubber dots on the bottom to help keep it from sliding off the table.

It’s a beautiful bowl that was roomy enough for my yarn, but it broke at what’s obviously a weak spot just a month and a half after I received it. It was kept in a project bag cushioned by my knitting project.

Speed of delivery, quality

Fits a good size ball of yarn, and has enough weight to it to stay in place with good tension. I did have to wipe the spiral cut with paper towel for a bit at first to get the residue from the laser cut out. I didn’t want to get it on my yarn. And I sanded the cut a tiny bit too, just to make sure it was very smooth all the way around. I didn’t have to do much of that, it was just minor fine tuning.Great value for the price. It’s pretty and works well.

I am very pleased wwith this bowl, not only is it very attractive and well made but it does the job that is was made for with no problems. It was well finished and smooth and I have used it for several hours of working time and had no problems with yarn catching or pulling . I would love another one only a little larger and deeper for the "cake" shaped yarns.

A nice wooden bowl just as shown. Was a little bit smaller than I hoped it would be but will still fit a decent size ball of yarn. Perhaps not best for the big chunky size yarns
