MikasaItalian Countryside Mug 11.5-Ounce, Set of 4

I tried several different styles and sizes of mugs before finding these. Some were too large and heavy, others too small and awkward to use; these Mikasa Italian Countryside Mugs are just right! The 11.5 ounce size allows me to pour at least nine or ten ounces of coffee without overflowing. The handles are comfortable and the rims are thin and smooth without being flimsy. I like that they are both dishwasher and microwave safe, although I use them for poured coffee and, since I don't use cream or sugar, I can rinse them over the sink. Since the mugs are white, they look nice next to my other Mikasa dishes, even though the patterns are different. Good to finally get what I want.

If you are trying to match the original ones you bought with your original lovely Italian Countryside set of pasta bowls, these bowls don't match up. The shape is different than the original, the outside detail around the upper edge is not the same quality. The Mikasa stamp on the bottom came off in the first run through the dishwasher. I still had two originals from my previous set and was thoroughly disappointed. Yes, they can be used and serve the same function but are simply NOT THE SAME!

Very pretty, easy to use, good value

My wife loves this spoon holder and it is large enough for anything we have in our kitchen. The porcelin looks like a very high quality and we expect to get many years of service from it.

These are a nice addition to the Italian Countryside set. They are mugs, but they are pretty dainty and elegant. I am pleased with them.

These are really nice to eat from, light weight and easy to clean and dry. However, they chip and crack easily. Handle with care.

Exactly the same as my bowls that came with my dishes. Had them for years and nice to replace the bowls that have broken over the years.

The embossed pattern on these bowls was kind of mushy, not as sharply defined as on other pieces of this pattern I own. It's been a wonderful set of china for years, very sturdy and appealing for all occasions, and I just needed a few extra bowls, but these were not up to par. Not worth returning, but a bit disappointing. Made me wonder whether these specific bowls were rejects o factory seconds. Otherwise, I LOVE-LOVE this style and brand of dinnerware.

Y lindo diseño

A very nice addition to y stove top and counter. It is sturdy and has a very nice weight to it. Spoon is large enough to hold most mixing utensils. Because it is ornate, I make sure to take special care when wiping it clean. Dishwasher safe too!

Ideal for steepin and serving a large tea.

I received these bowls the day after I ordered them. These are very nice bowls and size is better for cereal compared to the big bowls that come with the set. I will be ordering more so that I have a set of 8.
