It worked extremely well. We put a sheet of tin foil on the bottom as some people had said it leaks. We did not have any trouble with water soaking through though. After a couple of days I had a 5 year old shouting they were growing. I do not remember the exact timing, but a couple of weeks to a month ish, we moved all of the plants to small pots. So in short we were very happy with it.

Great kit, my only complaint would be that there isn't a warning saying that the flowers will grow in the egg carton so you need to rip it apart to separate the roots. Mine also had to be moved earlier than it said. Other than that, great product my son loves them

The seeds sprouted quickly and grew, my daughter enjoyed the whole process. she planted them at Easter and they are still alive and growing.

My granddaughters ages 5 and 8 loved this product. They started plants in it and transferred to their bigger garden. All kids love to see things grow and to tend to the plants. Cool little product.

I wrote a review for the veggie garden, mixing it up with the flower garden. But in the end, the outcome was the same, no flowers or vegetables. The customer service rep sent a replacement flower kit and nothing became of that. I’m only rating a two because they seem to have great customer service and my niece did enjoy the planting part.

MY 3 yr old son wanted a garden, so we bought this. It was so easy to do and we love checking them everyday for growth, which we have, he loves to water his plants everyday. What a great activity for kids and a great way to teach them about plants and gardening.

We've tried all the sunny-side up gardens and this is the one we have had the most success with. Pretty flowers and easy to grow. My 3 year old loved planting them and watching them grow!
