Pretty much the bible on rock garden and alpine plants. I just put installed a massive rock garden in an area of my yard, that was nearly unusable, due to shallow shelf rock. This book was indispensable! Totally recommended for the subject matter.

This book has good information on making and taking care of a rock garden with several variables. The photographs are excellent and attactive with as a guidance to doing your own rock garden. The list of plants is also excellent with good photos and ideas and ideas for use.

Very useful book on small plants, there are plenty of plants to choose from, and situations to put them in, with soil and sun positions explained. A rare book amongst general gardening books, one for the collection.

Great book very informative and super for folks like me who are not the greatest gardeners. Would highly recommend it to budding rock gardeners.
