Great suit that fits perfectly and seems well made. We haven't used it too much but it's gone through the wash once just fine.

My daughter has been wearing Ruffle Butts bathing suits since she was a toddler and they have always been great and held up will in terms of wear and washing, and this one is no exception. They are consistently well-made and super cute. It’s so nice to find rash guard (sun protective) styles that are also pretty! My daughter is 9 now and has just this summer started moving away from the RB styles with actual ruffles on the bum, so this suit was perfect for her and a big hit. The long zipper makes it easy to take on/off even when wet. The floral pattern is both current and classic at the same time and she loves the coordinating pattern on the small ruffle at the leg holes. I do miss the days when she had/wore rash guard sets in 3 different colors of seersucker. She still loves seersucker but not the ruffles on the bum now. She also prefers this short-sleeved rash guard style vs the king-sleeved one. I wish they’d make the short-sleeved seersucker set with just a plain bottom in the larger sizes. And also this style in seersucker!I’m so glad RB makes big sizer these days bc I live their quality and their classic, preppy look. I’m also glad they are on Amazon bc when she decides she was too big for the ruffles suits we had, I was able to get this one via Amazon Prime super quickly!

This fix as expected on our adolescent child. I size up for future use and have never had an issue with fit for current and future use/fit.We have had tthis suit prior to the start of summer'22 and have used it weekly since purchasing. We swim both in chlorinated/non-chlorinated pools and at the beach. We wash with all of our swim accessories, including but not limited to beach towels, swim suits, swim bags, etc.All of my past purchases with this brand have been easy and satisfying, including this purchase. Since purchasing there has been no fading on any part of the suit. It has not had any piles or lose threads, and no issue with the sewing of the suit. When using the suit on the beach we have not had any issue with sand getting into the inner mesh lining, which can be common in poorly made suits.This is my second bathing suit purchase from Rufflebutt and I will continue to purchase from them as my child ages. We still use our previous bathing suit and I can confidently say that everything I have mentioned still pertains to our bathing suit from last year. These suits are built to last.

Order options was in ages so selected age 8 / 8 year old but the tag came as size 8 so this would be too shall not pleased

The swimsuit has straight cut and isn’t as stretchy as most other swimsuits are. It was a good fit everywhere except the middle. Sent back but never received my money. ☹️On the plus side, it looks just as pretty as in the photos.
