I am muscular guy and the medium fit was great for lap swimming. It hugs your body to disallow little drag. Design, color, fabric were great.

I bought this for a Florida trip recently. I like the styling and tight fit of these shorts as they accent the body. I would suggest that you cut down some weight to pull these off. I'm no buff guy but I think it looked pretty good on me. Now let's dive into the detailsMaterial: The material is soft and smooth and has a stretch to it. The fabric is a what I would consider thicker than your traditional trunks but the material does dry relatively quickly.Build: The short has an elastic waist band and the drawstrings are mainly for decor purpose only. No functionality there. The front pockets are useable and can hold a cell phone although it will be bulging of course. The shorts does have an inner lining but isn't supportive like your traditional trunks.Fit. I purchased according to the sizing listed and it fit fine. The leg opening will generally sit mid thigh. If you walk around and swim, the leg will rise. The feel of it on is quite comfortable. Since the inner lining isn't supportive, your manhood will shift around. I found that when I get out of the water, my manhood will usually shift to one side and readjustment is generally needed. When I do find that my manhood has shifted, it's not AS visible as I would think due to the darker fabric. I think the outline would be visible on a lighter trunk.Cons: The only thing I would say about this short is that it's on the pricier side compared to traditional trunks.

If you're looking for a swim trunk that's not completely tight like a Speedo, nor loose and flapping in the wind like so many other board shorts, this suit is it. It fits just like it looks in the pics, and makes for a very trim appearance. The fabric is extremely comfortable, and the seams on my suit were sewn very nicely. The colors are magnificent.A minor issue for me (and this is going to sound very OCD) is that the pockets on the front are sewn on the outside, and the pattern on the pockets is not lined up with the pattern on the short. So the beautiful scenery is all botched. I think this is by design, but I just don't like it.Regarding sizing: I have a 34 waist (sometimes a 35), and I tried both the Large and X-Large. The large fit very snug, like a Speedo. Very comfortable, but not what I was looking for. The X-Large had some space around the thighs, but it just didn't fit right around my waist. I guess I just don't have the body for this type of suit, so unfortunately I had to return it.This is a beautiful suit, and guys who have the body for it (and who don't mind the front design issue) should be very happy with it.

Taddlee makes some great swim wear. This is my fourth pair and I will definitely be buying more in the future. They are comfortable, look great and have held up well so far. More importantly, the ladies love them. The first pair I purchased were a large and they ran a little loose for me. The ones pictured here are a Medium and they fit perfectly. I'm 5'10", 187.

Average build and pleased with the fit of these swim trunks. Pattern is great and very well constructed and true to size. Would highly recommend.

Having grown up on the beach, I thought my bathing suit collection was pretty hip. Little did I know that my standards for cool dude baggies(swimsuit) was about to be blown out of the water. Upon recieiving my package promptly to my apartment, I tried them on. Before I knew it, seagulls and pelicans started assembling on my patio. Living a few miles from the beach I found this puzzling. So I walked back inside to hear what I thought sounded like the ocean... Was my mind playing tricks on me, or did I somehow align with some type of oceanic force?! No, that's crazy. As it turned out, my wife was trying out her new ocean essentials meditation mix, but I knew there had to be something more to it. Fortunately I wouldn't have to wait long to find out. The wife and I set off for our Tulum trip where I was excited to bust out my new Taddlee threads. After picking up our bags from customs I saw the dreaded clues that our luggage had been rummaged through. "Had anything been stolen!?" I thought... After a quick once over, I found a note written in Spanish. Having been a few years since my high school Spanish lessons, I waited till we got to our hotel to have it translated. After checking in, I made mention of my note, and handed it off to the front desk. I tentatively watched as our attendants eyes grew wide, and quickly hurried into the back. Naturally, my wife was concerned, but I had quickly lost focus having been ditracted by a number of small sea turtles circling me in the lobby! "What a cool reception put on by the hotel", I thought. Our attendant returned and feverishly called for the bellman to take our bags to our room. As he escorted us we were blown away by the natural features of the hotel and overwhelming amount of wildlife that seemed to follow us. Birds flying overhead, squirrels running through the trees and at one point, we stopped by a massive aquarium where it almost seemed that all the fish/sharks/crustaceans were trained to follow our every move in front of the tank! While following the Bellman, we passed several rooms that all seemed lovely, but still we walked. Before long we were walking in sand! After another few turns our bellman drops our bags seaside and motions for a tip. I mean we were standing in the sand, next to beach, clearly something was amiss. Maybe we were waiting for some fairy to take us to another block of rooms just off shore?! Either way, I reached in my pocket, and much to my chagrin the only thing I found was sand dollars?!? I let out an awkward chuckle and handed him what I had. The bellman rolled his eyes, as if this had happened before, and said "adios, aqua hombre" as he walked away. So there we stood, next to the ocean, surrounded by an inordinate amount of wildlife, and our bags. Having left our worries and work back home, we decided to roll with it and just start enjoying our vacation. I quickly dig through the bag to locate my awesome new Taddlee shorts, and began changing right on the beach. As the smooth high quality fabric began to rise up my leg, what few clouds there were began to part, revealing the brightest rainbow I had ever seen. As I began to tie the finally crafted drawstring through its perfectly placed grommets a warm breeze kissed my face and the wife asked what that amazing smell was?! Odd, because at just that moment, I had just farted. Low and behold, my farts smelled like COCONUTS! What was happening!?! Simultaneously dolphins began flipping in unison, and believe me or not, a GOSH DANG MERMAID approached from the sea and called out, "Bienvenido a Casa!!!" "Surely this can't be real?!?", I thought. Then it hit me, my purchase of the fairly priced Taddlee shorts on Amazon.com had turned me into freaking AQUA MAN!!! The rest is history. These trunks are great to wear under more formal wear when you want to be ready to dive in the pool as soon as the fancy can come off. However they do run a bit on the small side, so step up a size to get a more comfortable fit.

Fantastic little swim-shorts. Looks and fits great. However make sure to read through the reviews and order ONE SIZE LARGER THAN SIZING LISTED!I am 5'9, 160lbs, skinny-fit. Pants are usually 31 or 32 waist. Luckily I ordered a LARGE (when I would usually wear an M). The Large fits me pretty perfect, and it's pretty sexy-tight. The sizing listed is INCORRECT, so make sure to order one size larger than what you'd usually wear for a fitted look, otherwise it'll be too small for you.- Colors are beautiful, my girl loves it.- Has pockets on front (no zipper though)- Has a neat white waist-tie string- Very close to the 'James Bond' look. You know the scene!- Heads up; there is an inner white liner, but NO inner pouch/netting to hold your junk. Though the spacing and length is good enough where this shouldn't be an issue.- Material is smooth and stretchy. Build quality seems good! (though haven't put it through any swimming yet)Overall very satisfied. Hoping it holds up through sun/swimming/washes.
